  1. New trailer for one of my favorite games. It's come a long way.

  2. Pre-Avowed playthrough of Deadfire completed. Used some light mods, mandatory Community Patch, plus XP rebalance, which worked pretty well. I think this is a playthrough I enjoyed the most. Small narrative additions and DLCs, I think make Deadfire much stronger narratively, and enough time has passed for me to be able to assess it with a fresher pair of eyes.

  3. Damn, I forgot how nice Deadfire looked. I'm currently playing BG3 and I have to say... Deadfire with that engine would be absolute fire. Being able to interact with everything, jumping all over the map, the whole mechanics, etc... very nice. Also in hindsight I'm pretty sure the real time with pause has hurt the gaming experience. Was never much a fan of it anyways, but playing BG3 now again just proves it to me.

  4. @SChin Thank you so much for the reply! I'm glad to hear the support team will get in my application, it worried me that I couldn't submit on the website. As far as I know, I'm not using a VPN at all. If it helps troubleshooting: I'm using a MacBook Pro, attempted to use safari and google to submit, and tried using Wifi network and cellular, with none working. (I would try to recreate the issue to possibly help you troubleshoot the problem, but the applications are closed). If there's anything that you want me to try and help, since the problem is occurring on my device, please let me know and I'm happy to help! Again, thank you so much for the reply, I hope the issue is fixed soon! I attached the screenshot of the error page from earlier just in case it helps.

  6. Eh, honestly, Sapkowski is just a Polish guy, who doesn't care much for videogames. He has a formal, direct way of speaking which comes out as critical or negative when translating into English. There are bitter undertones to the English article, that I don't sense at all when reading the original. All he says about games and CDPR is very respectful, and praises them multiple times but he just doesn't throw empty praise the way english speakers would do. He didn't play Witcher games, and is familiar with "graphic materials" only - which could be screenshots, or trailers or snippets of the game. What he does though is draw a clear line between his work, and CDPR's adaptation. He isn't critical of their work, he just considers it to be its own thing. A new work based on his characters, not a continuation of it - and as someone who read all the books - he is absolutely right.
