Me and my wife are playing grounded 2 and we run multiplayer on series X. Both systems are fine, nats open, ports good and internet is optimal. We crash every 30mins or so it seems like, we freeze at times from lag and the enviroment seems glitchy. If the grass isn't bugging out, the bugs are literally stuck in rocks. Ive watched aphids fly into outer space at times too. Great game though, hope we get fixes soon and more content.

We should for sure be able to access our buggies inventory without having to jump off the buggy then walk up to them like a chest similar to our pets in the first game. Also Gathering mode should add what the buggy picks up to their inventory. Would make harvesting a bit smoother since you can stop when your buggy is full. Also, in the future, if possible, it would be cool if certain buggies can farm certain resources. Soldier ants are so useful for cutting grass, but it sucks that they can't harvest weed stems. Maybe have it tied to our "customize" Sca.b 2k and pass on the tier axes to their bite ability. They are so useful in base building, but it feels unnecessarily clunky to have to constantly jump off and, on my buggy, if I am harvesting weeds or transferring my inventory to theirs. I think at least making them gather to their own inventory first would do wonders in farming using the gathering mode!

Not sure there's that much cause for genuine optimism. It's more that, well, both sides want to sound more optimistic and more conciliatory for Trump so he doesn't throw a tantrum. There's more chance of a deal now than there was when Zelensky was insisting on unrealistic scenarios like Russia evacuating Ukraine wholesale or going back to status quo ante 2022 as he was until recently, and shows some acceptance of the situation on the ground and geopolitically with Trump, but the list of differences between the sides is still an extremely long one with multiple issues that seem insurmountable. The best that seems likely, and it isn't very likely IMO, is one of those patented Trump hand waving 'victory' agreements where there's basically no detail at all and the whole thing is aspirational. (Since Trump mentioned it, one example would be territory swaps. What territory is Ukraine going to swap? Even their most optimistic mapping supporters have them holding a few tens of square km of Russian territory. Hard to see Z getting much for that. Politically it's doubtful he can even if he were personally willing to; ordering troops to up stick and leave without a fight is... difficult at the best of times, let alone when you've got a hard core of capital N Nationalists to deal with. Similarly, is Russia going to give up, say, their territory in Zaporizhie oblast for territory in Donetsk they could take anyway? Is Russia going to accept a ceasefire during which the west can rearm Ukraine? Seems unlikely, given the result of that happening during Minsk II. And there's plenty more.)

Oooo I do love the idea of a low mist rolling in! It'd add to the ambiance of the bombardment of rain! The droplets themselves could be few and far between, enough for the challenge but not a downpour. While it might be cool to have certain biomes be completely flooded, on a technical level that might be too difficult. However! Adding in flowing streams and water into cracks is a pretty cool idea! soaking and changing the ground textures would also be physically pleasing to see. Although, having EVERYTHING become slick might just become annoying... Maybe certain surfaces? Like metals and plastics? Otherwise, the ground is just squishy. Maybe a few caves are now flooded and need time before you can enter. And as far as time goes... While it could be influenced by daylight, the simpler and more direct approach is just to have an unspoken timer decide how long. Ten minutes, maybe? If we remove most of the slick effect and keep it to certain areas, it doesn't need to be there any longer than just to admire, while we do want it long enough that the slick gear feels necessary

I usually have 100+ fps in Grounded but after some time(usually 30 min-1 hour) they drop untill I have no more than 20. I dont know why this happens but the only thing that works fixing is completely closing the game and opening it again. Please help me find a fix..

With the new update, it's pretty unplayable. I'm the game host and I kept getting slowdowns if there were more than a few bugs in the area. My partner kept freezing until his game crashed. He has a founders pack, I don't. Performance really hasn't improved with this patch and we haven't even done anything interesting like an enemy attack.

Grounded 2 Solutions for Developers
Shadowdogss posted a topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
Thank you, Obsidian and Grounded 1/2 Team!!! Just want to start off by saying I love grounded 1 and a longtime fan and love grounded 2's direction. You guys are killing it so far and would love to get the chance to talk to the developers. I mean it when I say I don't know what other developers are doing these days, but you all are killing it in a good way. Thank you for the wonderful experience and fun times your company has given me and my friends / family. I want to jump right in and offer some solutions to some of what I consider easy to fix issues currently in Grounded 2. Gear Buff Adjustments: need to change fighter's gear buff to increase damage with 2 handed weapons by 10-20% and/ or stagger bonus and/or attack speed Add a new gear buff to equipment for tanks called tank and give it the same buff fighter has right now Javelineer Mutation changes: The Javelineer mutation is a bit wonky, I would change it to increase damage of thrown and normal spear damage by 10/20/30% and you get a buff from hitting an enemy 3 times that says, "when a spear is thrown it will return to the players hand" this could be the Rank 3 mastery buff. - because the current buff giving you recoil damage makes no sense you are encouraging the player to get hit in order to deal damage back to the attacker if you wanted to fix it make it damage on block so that way the player can emulate more of a spartan build using the shield and spear which is probably what was intended in the first place. Dagger Definition Fix: for daggers and fist weapons dash attack needs to be on a dash and then attack or change the name to charged attack as that is what you're doing currently. Ex) On black widow set it says dash attack applies venom Omni tool Fix: the omni tool should probably be a late unlocked item like 70% through the game and this would fix it entirely. if you unlocked this after beating a boss (like the Broodmother in Grounded 1 or any boss) then it would feel amazing to create it and give the player a huge convenience tool that was earned instead of just giving it as a free hand out. currently it doesn't feel good to gather anymore gets rid of the player feedback on emulating cutting down grass, smashing a hammer now your just hold e and this kills immersion. Upgrading the Omni tool feels tedious to gather all the necessary parts right off the bat and it's a lot for players to take in when the first introduction to gathering is just use this op tool and go gather with it. I think a better solution is to lock it behind story line as this would make it feel more rewarding and have a better sense of progression. like when you play a Zelda game and unlock the slingshot or boomerang etc. after beating a storyline boss. Toggle buttons for Sprinting / Crouch: Toggle button for sprinting and crouching since the new weapon daggers and the ambush mutation rely on the new sneaking mechanic. When traveling with the mounts toggling the sprint feels a lot better than holding it down as they are used for long distance travel. -
I have run into a recurring issue while gathering weed stems. Sometimes, but not always, when I break a dandelion, no weed stems or tufts are dropped. The stem falls and goes through the "burst" animation, but no resources are dropped (and they aren't just stuck in/on nearby grass). Every time this has happened, I was chopping the dandelion down with an ant buggy, although it does not occur every time a dandelion is broken down with the buggy. I have not experienced this bug while using the omni-tool.

When shared world is enabled non-host players are unable to use keys to exit menus or equip items. If a player dies when this happens, they will lose whatever "weapon" they had equipped. I have recently just lost the stranger shield due to this is am unable to reach a save before this issue occurred. Also, there is no way for a non-host player to equip a torch on a buggy unless they already have it equipped when they jump on the buggy. Also issues with shimmering and eating mushrooms cause the shaders to go insane for whatever reason. Tangential to that why doesn't v bring out a torch on the buggy anymore? It only brings up the toolbar wheel and there is no key binding to even have it on a different button. This also makes using a torch on buggies even worse due to this fact. Any way to retrieve lost items or will you make crafting strangers weapons a thing to have a slight work around this bug?

Hubby *did* use sunscreen if we were going to be at the beach/lake wearing almost nothing all afternoon or something, we'd always pack some for those trips, but that's the only time I recall him doing it. We did grow up during the time where most retail sunscreens were stinky, oily, sticky, or the white stuff. Negative associations. I personally tend to have high skin (and smell) reactions to some things, even so-called hyper-allergenic, and generally avoid ANYTHING on my face or hands for more than 5 minutes. Legs are ok for unscented lotions. In my older age I've been considering buying a sun parasols (more deco looking non-rain umbrella) if I decide to go outside more often one day. Could double as a walking stick. >.> I see articles talking about how they look older than their age. Although in some cases that's because of too much plastic surgery perhaps. which is a whole nother topic. Some of it all is simply changing social/age perception of what an age "should look like" too, which includes how fashion/hair affects perception as well - which is becoming warped ever more, imo, because of plastic surgery and social media/tv. Also, in terms of online - all those live app/software filters. Not just the OTP ones, but more subtle. They're crazy these days.

The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!

If they make their sole living reviewing (vs. random influencer ranting), they are generally expected to try giving the "masses" an idea if they would consider a film worth their time to watch. "So bad it's good" isn't, imo, a "masses" type of thing to view as being favorable in some quirky way. That's more niche. And what is "good" about "bad" is very hard to define. So I do understand them. --So Bad It's Good (usually viewed with some level of humorous or nostalgic affection), also just imo, is not the same as A Movie You Love to Hate ("majority" doesn't even find it humorous), although sometimes a film can certainly be seen as both/cross borders. I think WotW/2025 falls more firmly into the latter category, which is why it's getting such viscous blowback online vs. falling into almost immediate "eh, another bad movie" obscurity. The fact it's a giant Amazon/Prime ad doesn't help. I do wonder why Amazon, after having the film on the shelf for so long, decided to run it vs forever-binning. I guess they had savvy ppl who realized massive high view counts re: trainwreck-curiousity might be almost as good as high view count for artistic accolades. (more likely some legal obligation or consideration). Note: I didn't ever go back to watch past that first quarter hour. I've liked a lot of why-am-I-still-watching stuff others might think is awful, so no judgement re: likes or dislikes - but for me, definitely not worth my time to even find out. I didn't like so-bad-it's-good Sharknado or WickerMan or some others, either. Heh. -
