What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
I have been playing Dead Island 2 for about 25 hours and its still entertaining as a typical Zombie apocalypse killing game The crafting is excellent and well thought out and so are the weapons you find and use To use weapon mods and other improvements you need to constantly scavenge for resources but your weapons dont level with you so even a good weapon you like you will find it becomes ineffective and degrades quicker as you fight higher level Zombies You do have an option to level up your weapon but thats expensive So this creates a reality where you motivated to constantly explore and find new weapons on your level and then upgrade them with mods And then the game has a good balance between when you use guns\ranged weapons and melee weapons, certain apex Zombies I can only defeat using guns so you have to be strategic in many battles. You also encouraged to use the environment in combat, blowing up oil barrels to kill Zombies is very rewarding Finally the game gives you skills when you find these cards and there are several dozen combat cards so you can customize your slayer by using different cards These types of mechanics make Dead Island 2 a really fun game and well worth playing 🧟♂️

Exploring Vox Relay Vent Traversal Bug. (Cannot progress)
hjx13908486019 replied to RayePappens's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I just solved it by uninstall all mods, ESPECIALLY the ue4ss mods. I cannot enter the vent, even with all vortex automatic mod disabled. But after I moved dwmapi.dll and ue4ss folder somewhere else (it is manual mods), and I can enter there. IDK what caused that though, seems something with ue4ss script confilct with some game script name to actually open that vent. Then pass the tunnel, save again, enable all mods and move dwmapi.dll and ue4ss folder back, currently everything works well.

And these types of new trade deals are to be expected because it must be very frustrating for historical allies of the US like Canada and the EU to be constantly threatened with tariffs from Trump because of exaggerated economic imbalances like " its unfair to the USA that there exists this trade deficit with country x" or using tariffs because of geopolitical objectives like Greenland So you do what the Chinese did when they learnt last time when Trump was president and you insulate yourself by having other export markets You can also wait out Trumps presidency but thats still a few years off and having these types of deals established makes sense It wont change the reality of the US still being the worlds strongest consumer driven economy and an incredibly advantageous market to get access to but you should have other options Its not anti-Trump, its pro-Canada

Shoulder Pet (Utility bugs) idea
Nice idea. But I think that is getting to close to ark territory.

What are you Playing Now? Volume XIX: The New Beginning of the End of the Middle
^ Tainted Grail has that wonderful first half, and then it's an "ok" 2nd half. Very front loaded. Not that it becomes bad or something. But that first impression isn't ever quite matched. They've patched that 3rd act and I suppose it became a tad better but eh. But yeah, I had lots of fun with it. Anyway - I finally tamed a pet cat in Enshrouded. The cat is cute I suppose - if you pet it you get a small tiny health buff and it often runs to you and meows - but it sure eats a lot. I "locked" it in my bases main chr. bedroom (I've heard pets can get rather lost in this game), where the cat gets the zoomies and seems to run along wall edges/behind furniture, just like a real cat. Sadly, it does not jump on top of bookshelves, which is not like a real cat. Not sure I'll keep it out or stick it in storage. Am not taming the dog.

Long wonderful career. My personal faves were Lonesome Dove, Falling Down, and Open Range, but he's had lots of wonderful roles. I guess that leaves Dustin Hoffman (Gene Hackman, Duvall, Hoffman).

The All Things Political Topic - world tidings
If there's one thing Trump has proven it's that Europe does need another military union/ alliance. NATO minus the US would mostly lose the ability to wander around invading random countries- ie 'force projection'- which may be a big loss if you want to have the North AtlanticTO fighting China in the Pacific, but isn't much of a loss for a defensive alliance in the geographic North Atlantic. Europe does love convincing themselves that everything is going to work out if they just stick their fingers in their ears and sing loud enough for long enough though.

True, good point But the military contribution towards NATO from member states makes the difference So in the highly unlikely scenario that the US leaves NATO how effective will NATO be? So I should have said " the EU needs to ensure NATO is adequately supported so it is effective " Because NATO is also about the defense of the EU, you don't need another military union

Grounded 2 on Xbox Game Pass is crashing frequently.
I have the same problem. In addition, I note that the game is almost guaranteed to freeze if you pause it and switch to another window by alt-tab (and back), as well as quite often when the character turns fast in 3rd person view. Steam.

Save loss
I ran into a problem. We created a shared world and were playing together. Yesterday I logged in alone and spent a lot of time building a base. But today, when my friend entered the shared world, the base I built was gone — as if I had never played or built anything. At the same time, I can’t enter the world anymore myself. From the screenshot, it shows that the last saves were during the day, but I played most of the time in the evening. Could you please tell me what I should do? How can I enter the world and restore all the saves? Thank you!

Chocolate Smoochies Spawning Below Terrain
Hey folks, I'm having an issue during this month's event where the chocolate smoochies are sometimes spawning below the terrain depending on which spot they spawn at. If I go into 1st person view and crouch, I can slowly move along until the hammer icon shows up and break them that way. It's really tedious and something I've noticed is that I haven't seen any Valentines Fortune trinkets yet. I'm a little worried they might be under the terrain. :-/ Got 5 Everlasting Hogstoppers, though!

Ukraine Conflict - war continues on
“Afraid to show their society”: Moscow blocks online war casualty database that names Russia’s deadhttps://euromaidanpress.com/2026/02/13/moscow-blocks-online-war-casualty-database-that-names-russias-dead/ Note : 156,000 dead, 96,000 wounded is only what is verified, with name, surname, cause of death, location of death. The real numbers are much, much bigger because is impossible to categorize so thirdly all loses.

Well the first part of what Rubio said is partly true, he is talking about the effectiveness of the UNSC and the EU relying on NATO for defense This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone on this forum because I have lost count of the number of times I have heard people lament the " failure or inconsistency of the rules based order " and its almost entirely because of the veto at the UNSC But I support the veto despite the frustration of its use at times because the veto actually prevents conflict between the worlds superpowers and makes the UNSC seem less ineffective because without the veto " the UNSC must intervene in certain conflicts " because the UNSC has passed a resolution but who specifically must send troops or commit resources? UN military resolutions cant force any country to send its troops so this becomes difficult to manage So sometimes resolutions to conflicts can only be found outside of the UNSC and thats fine as well. Thats what happened in Gaza and the DRC vs Rwanda conflict where the US did play a fundamental role But this doesnt mean the UN and the UNSC is pointless or irrelevant. It still has a critical role in overall stability of the world and Rubio knows this. The US doesn't have the resources and influence to leave the UN and have the same impact in every conflict which is why Trump was insistent that the UN agrees to the Gaza peace plan. Iraq was an example of the failure of the US when it assumed it could do something without any UN support And the second paragraph is just unconvincing subjective and selective ideological rhetoric aimed at the EU and I don't agree with it But the EU should be more independent and less reliant on the US for its military defense And this takes time and requires budget changes from the EU members so its a long-term objective but a prudent one because this is in the best interests of the EU and I include the UK in this
