  7. I blew up the stone that held the mallet by the bench upright. At first it fell down and I was able to go up it. I did this before the latest hotfix update. I've recently noticed (after the hotfix update) that the mallet was back upright again, even though the stone that was holding it up is gone. So I'm unable to traverse it at the moment. I'm not sure if it's because of the hotfix; it could be the bug had already occurred beforehand but that I didn't notice it straight away. I play on xbox.
  8. Hello, I would like to suggest a terrain terraforming mechanic, specifically allowing players to dig and create their own underground tunnels instead of relying only on predefined underground areas. Given the miniature scale and survival focus of Grounded 2, this feature could greatly enhance immersion, player creativity, and emergent gameplay. Core IdeaAllow players to modify the ground to create tunnels, burrows, shortcuts, and hidden bases. The goal is not full sandbox destruction, but controlled, rule-based digging that fits the survival design of the game. Gameplay MechanicsDigging Tools Basic shovel for loose soil Reinforced tools for clay and compact ground Advanced or endgame tools for deeper or harder terrain Different soil types would affect digging speed, stamina cost, and tool durability. Soil Types & Constraints Loose soil: easy to dig, but unstable Clay: slower to dig, suitable for underground bases Roots and rocks: obstacles that block or limit digging Infested soil: triggers hostile creatures Poorly supported tunnels could collapse unless reinforced with structures. Underground ThreatsDigging would attract underground creatures such as: Burrowing insects Large worms or centipedes Aggressive ant patrols The deeper or louder the digging, the higher the risk of encounters. Strategic UsesCreating shortcuts between biomes Escaping predators Building hidden underground bases Setting traps or ambush routes Some enemies could invade or destroy poorly defended tunnels. Balance ConsiderationsTo keep the system fair and performant: High stamina and durability cost Restricted zones (near story locations, bosses, or map limits) Depth limitations without advanced gear Chunk-based terrain saving to preserve performance Why This Fits Grounded 2Reinforces vertical exploration (surface and underground) Deepens survival and risk-reward decisions Encourages unique player-made worlds Terraforming would give players a stronger sense of ownership over the environment while staying true to the game’s survival identity. Thank you for considering this idea !

  10. When playing Grounded 2, my HotPouch was auto-populating the "Any Food" slot with granola bars I wanted to save for later, so I replaced its binding with the food I wanted to use. When I went to re-assign the "Any Food" option to the same HotPouch slot later, I couldn't find an option for it anywhere! Assigning tags to HotPouch slots was always one of the most convenient parts of Grounded 1's UI. Losing that functionality is bothersome to say the least.

  17. I picked up Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon on GoG and it's an enjoyable open world game. The crafting is better than Skyrim, that's for sure.

  19. Finished MIO and did not like it. Started Ender Magnolia and the game is fantastic - the map is helpful, the bosses are diverse and challenging enough (the first ones at least; the difficulty is adjustable, though the default has been comfortable), the exploration is satisfying, the weapon NPCs and abilities are varied. It is also much lighter on platforming, which I appreciate, and the controls are comfortable (the targeted hook points are clearly highlighted and the hook ability is reliable). The visual design might be a bit less coherent - the MC's sprite is conveniently very bright and visible (the #0000FF coat is great), thus, clashes with the more detailed and grey NPCs and foes. Also started The Knightling. For some reason, the game has noticeable FPS drops in the city without any obvious visual indicators why, aside from more NPCs around.
  20. Oh, you did mean the Himeno one. Yeah, I mean...it was gross, I guess, but I wasn't super engaged by that scene in general. A bunch of people drinking is always a good time to check out for a minute...or an hour, depending.
  21. Was running along on my ant and fell through the ground somewhere near the sprinkler pipe up near the War-Torn Ant Nest. Couldn't find the unstuck command is it still part of the game, or will I just have to lose the contents of my backpack and give up?
  22. Ive seen other posts like this in the past and now I'm having the same issue with the game telling me I need an "xbox network account". It was running fine and working 2 days ago (after update - ver 0.3.248.4411) All my other xbox games work perfectly fine. Im having this issue in both Grounded and Grounded 2! Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!
  23. My wife and I play cross platform, her on Xbox hosting, and me on PC. When she presses the Emote button (D-pad Left) it crashes her game and kicks me from the server.
  24. Alright, played through D2R normal, nightmare, and hell. Warlock is really fun to play, imo, but currently completely overpowered. Don't think the endgame ever felt this easy before, was mostly breezing through everything. Still, hope there will be more content in the future. None of the sequels got close to the D2 experience.
  25. I remember reading unlimited zeal method somewhere before(maybe one of your older posts Boeroer) But unfortunately this is too cheesy and boring style for me(sure very powerful indeed). I think it was intended for knocked out party members but developers never fixed it. What about instant recovery weapons like stalker patience ? Can it be used to do double attacks in turn based? Anyone knows?
  26. I get where you're coming from! Tyranny does a great job with its endings, and while some players enjoy replaying it to explore different outcomes, it’s true that a sequel feels unlikely given how much work and commitment it would require to live up to the original. The game’s story is pretty self-contained, and the multiple endings don’t necessarily leave room for a clear sequel, but it’s fun to dream about what could be! Obsidian definitely knows how to create a rich narrative, and while we may never get that Tyranny sequel, there’s always hope for more great RPGs from them, like Pillars of Eternity or even The Outer Worlds.
  27. Goal nr.1 /2026 achieved I have the first game of 2026 behind me, Celestian Tales: Realms Beyond from GOG. I have been postponing playthrough of this RPG for a few years, because it was meant as a part of trilogy, but unfortunately, the Indonesian studio behind it was acquired by another company, and because the game underperformed the expectations of the new owner, the last game was cancelled :( . Because of that, the game has few small cliffhangers at the end. On the other hand, it offers few plot twists in connection to the first game, but the main premise is still the same. Your party of companions are here not to save the world, but you are helping them to get through their life struggles, and help them making their decisions.
  28. Frost Morgan started following Buggy
  29. Do you know how many times I yell at my buggy to get off my ass? Seriously... I know there's left trigger to tell the buggy to stay. But how many times do you jump off the buggy to kill something or break something... Go to pick up the loot... And jump back on the buggy because they have to come get right up in your business? I looked to see if I can remap the mount button? But I didn't see one. I am pretty sure I could remap the grab button. But I am waaay to accustomed to that being that button. So my biggest frustration with this whole game... Is how I much the buggy... Doesn't just follow you... But rides your ass so that anything you're doing... He's just there. Or... He'll just stand right on top of loot you're trying to grab making it almost impossible unless you get back on him... Move him away... Hit left trigger to stay... Then go grab the stuff. I feel like I can handle bugs... Glitches and crashes... But this buggy thing drives me crazy.
  30. Hi, Could it be restored for the mobile version for several last pages (e.g., if the thread has 16, then 14, 15, 16) to be clickable without opening the thread? Also, to disable the suggestion of using the app, 'cause that aint happening. I acknowledge the security requirements, appreciate you making the update the least disruptive, and detest the bloat of the new version. The previous one looked and worked better.
  31. The only tips that I can give: If going SC Paladin you want at least one Chanter in the party who can summon very weak summons frequently. Optimal would be Beckoner with Ancient Brittle Bones+ Many Lives Pass By or a Troubadour with Brisk Recitation, Ancient Brittle Bones + Many Lives Pass By. But any Chanter who can do either works. Also an Ancient with Summon Sporelings works well. A Ranger with Animal Companion is also nice to have. The reason is the Paladin's ability "Divine Retribution" at Power Level 9. It's a late game passive of course, but it's very powerful: for every ally that goes down you get +2 Zeal points. With the weak summons of Chanters that basically means your Paladin will have endless Zeal at his disposal. Since his Exhortations and other stuff are fast (but expensive which usually limits the usage) this is very impactful. You can also spam Flame's of Devotion endlessly. With a Ranger's Animal Companion you can revive it "for free" unlimited times because you get 2 points when it goes down and it costs 2 points to revive it. If you use a Ghost Heart Ranger a downed animal companion just gets you 2 Zeal (and costs only 1 Bond to summon). In addition the usage of the Essence Interrupter Bow in the party is great: with the upgraded enchantment "Soul Diplomacy" every time you crit an enemy, when that enemy dies an ally summon will pop up in its place (with long duration). If that summon dies you get +2 Zeal. Also a Goldpact should use Sworn Rival. You will mark one enemy for +20% damage for 1 Zeal. You also get your +4 AR (against 7 hits). But if that enemy dies you get back the Zeal point, so basically it getting bonus damage and +4 AR for a time for free. Because this is very cost efficient you can to it all the time and this get away with lighter armor (which increases DPS). However, since I don't play Turn Based mode, I cannot say whether this is impactful or not. As far as I can tell action and recovery speed are not that crucial in the TB mode of Deadfire. Since Shared Flames is good but very short lived (and the AoE is kind of small) I usually prefer Eternal Devotion (both mutually exclusive upgrades of Flames of Devotion). However: as soon as you can spam Shared Flames mindlessly it becomes the superior upgrade for the party performance as a whole. I don't know how good it is in TB mode, but in RTwP an ability which is severely underrated for a Paladin is Zealous Charge. It adds a lot of movement speed to the party which directly translates to higher dps for all melee party members. And since Goldpact's Gilded Enmity (+4 AR) doesn't stack with Exalted Endurance's +1 AR (which is also very good in general) so you might want to try Zealous Charge in TB mode, too (although I don't know how movement speed works there tbh).
  32. Hello, the game is pretty much unplayable i had been dealing with the super saturated visuals but found it hard to look at, i finally loaded into an area where the visuals were normal and realized it wasnt supposed to be horribly saturated. There are basically 0 visual settings but does anyone know how to fix this? Imgur link showing what the game normally looks like for me vs what is supposed to look like: https://imgur.com/a/tbEI7cj
  33. Goldpact works great single-class in TB, you just need to lean into survivability → burst damage. For a simple, priest-independent setup: • Weapon style: 2H (greatsword / estoc) is ideal for higher PEN and fewer recovery concerns in TB. • Core abilities: Flames of Devotion, Sworn Enemy, Inspired Defenses, Eternal Devotion, Brand Enemy, Stoic Steel. • Action economy: Prioritize FoD upgrades + accuracy buffs; TB favors big decisive hits over sustained DPS. • Goldpact synergy: Stack AR and defenses so Gilded Enmity / Stoic Steel keep you stable while FoD delivers spikes. • Stats focus: MIG + PER first, then RES/CON. DEX is less critical in TB. • Easy consumables: Captain’s Banquet / Hot Razor Skewers are excellent and accessible. Single-class paladin is very viable — durable, accurate, and great at deleting priority targets.
  34. Hi i recently finished poe1 and want to start a deadfire run with same class. I tried to search for viable single class goldpact paladin builds but found mostly multiclass builds and mostly for rtwp. I prefer any 2H weapon or 1H weapon with no shield and no double wield. Looking for builds for TB improving action economy or utilizing goldpact ability of bonus AR convert to high damage output or general synergy in equipment and abilities. It should be viable without a priest or chanter in party. Food and drug bonuses are ok if it can be acquired easily. Thanks

  36. Last week
  37. Oh you cannot miss the kiss scene, it's pretty memorable. Spoiler Manga
  38. Correction to my previous post: in the spoiler at the bottom, I said "while everything I said above is true", this did not apply to the "best show I've seen in the past 10 years" bit. I forgot I wrote that. The show is fine, but it was obviously not best in the last 10 years good, haha. ...The kiss scene? Uh...oh, do you mean Himeno in the show, or the one in the movie? Probably in the movie? Movie
