I’ve had that bug randomly appear. Most of the time exiting the game and coming back in fixed it. I did have that glitch remain stubborn one time despite reloading multiple times so I just started building a few sections over and suddenly I could delete the blueprints that have been acting like they were supports. The game definitely gets confused once in a while about which pieces are supporting what.

It's funny that Dark Ages is seen as a demanding game. Historically, much like any Doom since the reboot, it's an imposter. I mean, it's released on a Series S! Even my 3060 would still perform hugely better than Carmack era Dooms with much more recent hardware then. And the CPU requirements are low anyway. As for Avowed, this is basically one of the minimum spec GPUs release six years ago. Looks fairly decent. Grounded 2 still seems in a rough shape. But if TOW2's anything like Avowed, I'm personally not even wondering whether I could run Outer Worlds 2, despite running entry hardware released 2021 (Ryzen 5600 / RTX 3060). It may not be a stable 60 fps without upscaling. But then I didn't play TOW with more than 45-50fpsish either on my prior Ryzen 3 / 1050 Ti setup. As said, 30/40 are absolutely still a thing on "affordable" consoles at least on dedicated quality/balanced modes -- plus (dynamic) upscaling. On PC, your pocket's the limit, and Nvidia are pushing the demands for 1,000fps already. Frame Generation or not, that is a THOUSAND frames rendered in every single second. And each of those frames is still getting more complex. Let that sink in for a, well, second. 5,000 Dollars GeForce 6090 GTI Super Mega Hyper Ultra -- when are you gonna release it, Jensen? -

Is there any chance we could have foundations block bug spawns? Or perhaps some type of buildable land claim. I am constantly having to deal with ORC weevil and butterflies spawning in my base. Probably the most annoying thing about the first game was this problem. I want to be free to build a base in any location and not have to constantly repair everything in my base after killing bugs that have spawned inside. There are some awesome base locations that are being ruined by this problem.

Bren started following QOL for Console related to hotpouch

I’ve noticed the hotpuch is more optimised for pc especially in the first game. For console it needed something like for example hold LB and press X for quick access whatever is assigned to it even if you have to do hold LB and press B+Y together to make up pouch slots for quick access. If possible revisit the first game with this tweak please

Hello! I own Grounded 2 on steam and also subscribe to Xbox PC Gamepass. I am trying to play the game with my child by having them log in using my steam copy and I am playing with the gamepass version via the Windows Xbox app. When trying to sign in with their Microsoft account, it is giving me an endless login loop. I type in their password and it accepts it, spins, and then goes back to asking which method to login with (biometrics, password, or email code). I have tried password and email code and they both do the same thing. Please help! I bought this copy on Steam purely so that I can play with my child and it is not working at all. The first game works just fine in this manner! Thanks!

Hey everyone, After quite a few hours in-game, I’ve noticed some bugs and also thought of a bunch of ideas to improve the experience. Dropping the list here to open the discussion – feel free to add, confirm or roast it . Annoying Bugs Collision issues everywhere (map, buildings, ants sneaking where they shouldn’t). Enemy generator/shader bug. Weird lighting when building a base. Environment respawning inside your base (free jungle decoration ). Pathfinding goes nuts when enemies attack. Can’t draw or use your weapon while riding your pet. Pets sometimes bug out on generation. Improvement Ideas Portable light sources: belt, helmet, headlamp (we all get lost in the dark, admit it ). Pet progression: skills, levels, affinity system. More interactions with pets (petting, sending them to fetch stuff, etc.). Richer fauna & flora to make the world feel alive. Better storage management (icons, color coding, etc.). Building system tweaks for smoother gameplay. Combat Side Fist weapons don’t take advantage of the ambidexterity mutation. A bee gatling gun (come on, tell me you wouldn’t love this). Enemy waves to defend your base, tower-defense style. That’s my quick feedback list! What do you guys think? Have you run into the same bugs? And if you could add one thing to the wishlist, what would it be?

On my 3070 I was able to run Avowed mostly ok, but unfortunately, I do start feeling the limits of my 8GB memory. I tried Doom: Dark Ages, and oh boy. That just wasn't worth playing with that performance. Technically I was able to push to 60FPS with heavy use of DLSS, but it definitely wasn't smooth 60FPS. -
This literally just happened to us in our game. I've been building a mega base high up next to the hot dog cart, been building for days now and all of a sudden, after misplacing a blueprint, I went to delete the blueprint and the whole structure fell to the ground. I'm not the one hosting this world so the host reloaded the previous save and the structure was back, he ran over to try to get rid of the blueprints via the game repair option and once again the whole structure fell to the ground. After again loading a previous save we started looking at all the blueprints and they all say they are supporting 700+ things, which doesn't make sense. Even ones that are clearly above other objects and not connected to anything are saying supporting 700+. The most interesting thing is this was not happening yesterday at all. We all were working of different base builds and had to remove blueprints, and nothing was destroyed. Now all of a sudden today we have this bug. Very weird, and annoying.

Goal nr. 7/2025 August 24, 14:45 – I have been lately busy at work, so I have decided, that I need some easygoing experience, so I have purchased Hero of the Kingdom on GOG and finished it over the weekend. It was exactly what I have needed. Playing with tempo of your own, no stress, just clicking with a mouse to start and finish quests and to gather materials. And as a bonus, I found out, that it was made in Slovakia . A little bit over 7 hours was needed to get all of the achievements in the game.

Since termites are coming to grounded 2 since the out of bounds area has been discovered bringing back the termite king and since we are gettting huge bosses like axl a termite queen would be amazing maybe it could shoot eggs at you and you would have to hit them back or maybe you could trade with it or accidentally step on one of its eggs would start the boss battle also having more detailed termite den would be really cool like having a fungal farm in it wich you could eat or cover yourself in a scent that makes termites peacefull would be really cool or a ventillation system or maybe you could start a wars between the termites thank for reading

Hi everyone, just wanted to share the Light Tower that I've been building in Grounded 2. I started working on this design years ago in original Grounded, and I'm updating it for the new base building and crafting introduced in Grounded 2. The goals of this building are to act as a navigational beacon, create a defensible base, enhance base crafting experience, and to provide an ideal zipline network. Obviously the current tower is not a completed design as I continue to source milkweed and other Tier 3 materials, and we do not currently have access to Tier 3 Omnitools and raw materials like pine cones, lint, and more. Any feedback and suggestions on how to improve the design are greatly appreciated, so you can comment in this thread or directly on the YouTube video as well. https://youtu.be/j-4xGy5cnMc

Garden Warfare was such a fun twist on the classic PvZ formula turning tower defense into a goofy third person shooter worked way better than I expected. Curious, did most of you prefer Garden Ops or the full multiplayer? Lately I’ve been checking out PvZ Fusion Free too, some neat mods there that bring back that same vibe.

Is PoE2 too easy?
Boeroer replied to Ocelot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
That's what I meant with "if you really know what to do". Who thinks Raedric's Castle is difficult to clear out doesn't really know (yet) what to do imo. To me it's a fairly easy (but lengthy) step in the early game - and the reward is very high (bc. of masses of loot). That makes the following encounters even easier. Imo PoE encouters can be cracked open more easily with the right tools while Deadfire's might be generally easier to manage for somebody without much (meta) knowledge, but imo they are also less prone "to get played" as much as the PoE ones. I guess also because PoE has some weird, obscure mechanics (besides obscure stacking) which can make a big difference but is hard to discover. One exception on Deadfire are naval battles. Those can get tricked very easily (if you know how) and can get you superb and unique loot along with gold and XP extremely early (which makes the rest of the game easier, too). But in Deadfire, if you follow Benweth directly after meeting Furrante, then immediately go to Dunnage afterwards and think "ah okay, off to the Hanging Sepulchers" right away, you will get wrecked so substantially you might want to abandon the game. This can even happen if you meet Eamund the Fox on Dunnage right after solving Benweth and doing some "running around" quests on Dunnage. Eamund's party will be very hard to beat and it will feel very unfair because there's no indication that Dunnage might have such difficult battles beforehand. But if you level up in Nekataka with some non-violent quests before, mayne do a few easy ship bounties etc. and then go to Dunnage, suddenly Eamund is a joke and the Hanging Sepulchers aren't that bad afterwards. If you solve Arkemyr's Manor peacefully very early and then sail to Berkana's Observatory right away, the Torn Bannermen will crush you. If you manage to beatvm them with tons of resting and resources anyway, Concelhaut and his friends will finally bring you down. And imo he cannot really be tricked unless you are willing to pull out Lover's Embrace, Gouging Strike/Brand Enemy and are willing to exploit a pair of Bounding Boots. If you are lucky on your first run you won't even notice all that and think that Deadfore is easier than PoE. And I would say on average it is. But I've also read many rants from unlucky new players who complained about those perceived unfair difficulty spikes. And they had not many problems with PoE before. It can happen in PoE, too (cannot count the amount of rants about Crägholt Bluffs) but to a lesser extend because the game is less open. TL;dr: it depends. -

I thank you for your input and I am happy to know that Avowed was working on your hardware. Nonetheless, I would like to point out that at release the Steam Deck performance was reported as poor with the FPS dropping below 30 at the lowest settings (the handheld is a decent indicator of whether it would run on my main system, excluding some OS version-related fluff which is a no-go), while the system requirements still show both the minimum and the recommended storage space as 75GB, meaning that the unusable for me textures are baked in and I would be forced to download them regardless. The Outer Worlds 1 was an excellent example of handing it - the players who could afford to spend more on their hardware and energy could access the more energy-consuming graphical features for a modest fee, while the others still could play the game comfortably without missing out on anything. Still, I am happy to wait for my hardware to be able to meet the recommended system requirements which is also likely to coincide with the price being equal to the consideration the developers gave to the optimisation. It is applicable for both The Outer Worlds 2 and Avowed. I do hope that PoE3 will have "less graphics" and full save file import, should it ever happen. Arguably, PoEII is ~50GB, but it was worth it. -
Is PoE2 too easy?
Ocelot replied to Ocelot's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
About 80% of the quests I've done were under-leveled. Therefore trivial to beat. Even the ones with 1 or 2 levels higher were easy to beat. The only fight I struggled was with Who was 3+ levels higher than my team and I was still able to beat on the second attempt. I generally avoid level scaling RPGs but I think my first PoE2 run would have been much better if I had it enabled. PoE1's beginning felt harder to me, specifically because of Raedric's Castle questline and deciding to face him instead of helping him.
