The TV and Streaming Thread: That's Entertainment!

That looks excellent, one of the best new horror series trailers I have ever seen There was never a deep or comprehensive story for what the IT monster was and its genesis and this series looks like it will provide that Day 1 watch for sure -
watching the un speech of usa leader are hilarious especially after playing suzerain again recently pity those poor translator have to make this nonsense into readable subtitle in their own language

Great list! I've noticed the random dismount as well by the ice cream area and on my way to the BBQ pit. Low gravity bug? I wish I knew how to do this. The ORC waves definitely spawn wherever you're located and it's quite annoying. I've had a flying insect wreaking havoc inside my base building too. I've fought AXL 9 times and I've had a few issues like temporary negative effects deciding to stay until I restart the game. I've never bricked the AI. I don't think I'm that talented lol. I haven't had a Wolfie stare me down yet but I love that you experienced this and it is scary & hairy hilarious.

Certain Bugs still spawn in Dwelling and Yard
PookaBug replied to PookaBug's topic in Public Test Bugs & Support
Thanks for the reply. You definitely could be right. The weird this is that the larvae seems to move around if I put up more palisades or put down more pebblet flooring. Now the larvae is in my yard area which makes it easy to find at least. The 2 grubs really seem to enjoy roaming under the pebblet flooring. -
I had this issue with the lavender lounge chair but now it's also happening with the pine lounger. My character is in the lounging position but is floating high above the lounge chair. With all the regular chairs, stool and the throne sitting seems to be fine. I would upload my 172 kb screenshot but I keep getting error code: -200. I'm on Xbox Series S. Thanks.

Certain Bugs still spawn in Dwelling and Yard
Riahara replied to PookaBug's topic in Public Test Bugs & Support
This is just a random guess, from what I've seen - but I think thats a rendering issue. I've noticed it only happens for me, when I've gone looong distances, and come back home. Its like they're rendering in before the floor does. -
So I've been playing the ptr since it launched, and just thought I should share what I've run into. 1- You can completely brick Axl's AI, causing him to stand completely still and allow himself to be 90%'d with 0 effort, by standing underneath him and preventing him from starting phase 2. 2- I think I've finally figured out how to willingly cause the low gravity bug, resurrect your buggy right as you take a hit and it seems to cause it everytime. I won't lie I've been using it to gather on my ant, as it also reduces fall damage 3- The orc wave is not a "raid" its an ambush, as such it essentially invalidates all defensive building, as if you're in base when it spawns you get flyers *inside* your defenses. 4- There is a random large stretch of land, near the icecream lab, that dismounts you randomly, I assume due to the story cave underneath. 5- Wolf spiders (very rarely) will just walk up to you and stare at you, horrifying but also funny, but I doubt intended lol. If it is you guys have a sick sense of humour :P.

wtsnacks started following Can't start white march on OSX

I've been getting the pop-up that the steward has a letter for me, but she will not talk to me about it. However, she does have a discussion topic about what I think would be the siege of Cragholdt since she mentions Concelhaut. However, I can't actually start any quests for the white march, even though I have the headings for them inside my journal. I am on GOG and tried a fresh install, but it did not help. I know other people have had this problem, but it seems like all of them had it fixed by doing that. Does anyone have any ideas? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GKOTAWOpBcnJ7kos-X7vRJKjT9bH4KbN/view?usp=sharing - save game https://drive.google.com/file/d/13cebnepE1VMARdyI8bAY02224XlI1nJ1/view?usp=sharing - log

It's not available to the public yet. You have to access the public test. Download the Xbox Insider Hub app and access previews.

Seems to align with my experience. 1. Primary , consists of 7800X3D on a MSI X670E Tomahawk with a MSI 5090 on a 1440p ultrawide monitor. 2. Secondary, consists of 7700X on a MSI Pro B650-P with a Zotac 4090 on a 4K TV. I did a quick test some time ago with the earlier 580.88/.97 GR drivers to see if I can replicate the GPU Crash Dump. Was able to load a Shared World save and play for a bit without any crashes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I use Afterburner because I undervolted the 4070 TI in the past, but I kept running into stability issues with Everspace 2 (no other game though, weirdly enough, Cyberpunk 2077 ran stable with all bells and whistles enabled), so I dropped it and just went with 85% power target instead. If you install the new nVidia app which no longer requires registration and a login, you can use that to set the power target. You really need to make sure it leaves your game settings alone though.
-
That's what I keep hearing and considering it's the anorexic version of the cooler it will probably be the first thing I do. Edit: do you use 3rd party software for this (afterburner) or via powershell?
-
Just set the power target to 85%. If the 5070 TI is anything like the 4070 TI you'll end up with 95% of the performance for a lot less power drawn.

Hello Obsidian Team, First off, thank you for creating such an amazing and unique survival experience with Grounded. The game runs smoothly for me during normal exploration and combat, where I can maintain stable performance at around 60 FPS. However, I’ve noticed a major issue whenever I interact with menus such as: • Hotpouch / Quick Slots • Inventory • Building Menu • Other UI Overlays (map, crafting, etc.) Whenever I switch to these menus, my FPS suddenly drops from stable 60 to as low as 48–40 FPS, making it feel extremely sluggish and unresponsive. This is surprising because combat, exploration, and even larger fights with multiple insects do not cause performance problems — only the menus do. From my perspective as a player, it feels like: • UI elements (icons, textures, blur effects, transparency) might be causing high GPU/VRAM or CPU spikes. • The rendering pipeline for menus may not be as optimized as the 3D world. Because of how often menus are used, these performance drops break immersion and can even affect gameplay in tense situations. Suggestions • Optimize UI rendering so menus don’t create sudden FPS drops. • Pre-cache or compress menu assets (icons, thumbnails) to reduce VRAM spikes. This issue was never fixed in Grounded 1 and should be addressed in Grounded 2.

**Title:** Multiplayer Desync / Drop Issues – Still a Problem in 2025 Hey everyone, My family and I love *Grounded* — the building, the discovery, the backyard ecosystem. Tiny people and big bugs! But one long-standing issue keeps us from really enjoying longer co-op sessions: the **multiplayer drop/sync bug**. Even with stable internet, even on LAN, players randomly disconnect, which makes it hard to play together consistently. For us, *Grounded* is extra special because it’s how I connect with my ND kid — games are our shared hyperfocus time, and sometimes we include my partner too. When the sync bug kicks in, it breaks that groove and makes it harder to keep the vibe going. As we progress in the game, very quickly — 5–10 minutes — it becomes the limit of play before disgruntled feelings kick in. I know the game has reached its “final” update, but this bug is still a major hurdle for families and groups who want to enjoy it in co-op. If it’s not possible to patch, it would be amazing if Obsidian could either: - Offer a small stability fix, - Provide **modding tools / community support** so the player base can help, or - Even consider **opening it to the open-source community** (under an appropriate license, like MIT or GPL) so fans can work on resolving the issue. Looking ahead, we’d absolutely love to see a *Grounded 2*. If multiplayer stability is improved in a sequel, it would be an instant purchase for us. *Honestly, I’m ready to buy 3 licenses right now if it means we can play globally without drops.* Thanks for listening — curious if others are still running into this too.
