Galeruex started following PS5 Trophy Bugs - All For None & Go Out With a Bang
-
Neither of these trophies appear to be working for me on the latest update of the PS5 version. Go Out With a Bang doesn't appear to be willing to pop no matter how many multi-kills I get with the weapon. All for None has 1 instance on the PS5 trophy tracker but I have no idea what triggered that. I've tried on multiple character files various methods of driving companions away, ranging from violating their core beliefs; trading them to executioners for safe passage; blowing up their loved ones; shooting them; and asking very nicely. None of these have worked and I'm starting to feel very bad about my managerial conduct during testing.

I have finished The Séance of Blake Manor as well and managed to save everyone saveable (21/21, as the end-game window indicated). I have also spent almost a day trying to find Joyce - the quest requiring her was available very early, while the NPC was frequently inaccessible. The time limit allows to have a lot of interactive junk and functionally useless dialogue options without pressuring the player into using them all, which is welcome. I also had to wait for ~2.5 hours at the end for the last event after doing everything else (and 1 hour to get to Joyce). The controls are rebindable and it is possible to save at almost any time, though the number of save files is insufficient. The main non-logical puzzle (the runes/glyphs thing) is fun enough to do repeatedly. The visual style is very readable and expressive at the same time (low-poly 3D environment and 2D character models). A small annoyance was (ending spoilers): Also, some investigations were obvious to me as a player (e.g. Murphy's) but not the character, including the main culprit.

SinisterFire started following Friends in High Places bug?

Is there a workaround for getting through the sealed door after the bridge in Friends in High Places? I'm on an Xbox Series X, can't load an earlier save as I thought I was doing something wrong or had missed something so they've auto saved at pretty much the same point. I've been through the area multiple times, have fixed both fuses, the bridge is there but the door is still sealed. Any ideas on how to progress or if Obsidian are going to patch it?

'tis just "in" and uploaded most recent: Have you heard about this game? And man? Can you tell me something about them? -
So, I've finished the game last night, and it was a great experience overall. It is a very meaty RPG and something I've been looking for for a long time. That being said, there are some areas that needs improvement in order to improve RPG experience, which I think is important in order for it to be more accessible for new players; especially when 2 DLCs are still coming and this game has every chance to flip the initial perception due to botched marketing (yes, I said it) and pricing (thank you Microsoft!). Currently the RPG system is leaning too hard to specialization, most people, especially on first play-through, would likely to go for general build, they're figuring out what they want to do as they go, and it can be sucks for them when they found out that they thing they want to do will basically botch the initial build they're aiming for. A lot of the problems are players found it difficult to pass a plethora of low skill checks which they probably should've passed easily without even needing to invest points to that specific skills. When they couldn't pass that check, maybe for opening a certain door, player feels that they missed out on content (even though they're not). I propose several solution that can Improve or at least mitigate the rough edges that player will inevitably encounter with current system: 1. Ring slots. The game already has earrings and bracelets, instead of being Junk Items, I think it's good for them to be turn into Skill enhancing items (ranging from +1 to +4 skills enhancement), the game only need to add ring/jewelry slot (4 of them ideally), I don't think people will notice that they can't see the bracelets or earring they put on their characters. So, I think, it will be easy to implement. 2. Consumables. Let's face it, most people don't even realize there is a hunger meter. I'm playing on normal so I don't even know what is the function of foods beside to heal you outside combat. I believe many people already asking why would Dev remove the ability to enhance stats temporarily via consumables, especially when it is a staples (wink) in this kind of game. I want to do drugs in order to be able to open a door, please Obsidian, let me do drugs (build)! 3. Skills enhancing armor and armor mods. This is also an easy fix to mitigate some of the frustrations of not being able to pass a skill check, especially when you need 1 extra point to do so; moreover wouldn't it be make more sense for a specific armor to enhance specific skills related to certain build? - especially considering there are "Engineer Armor", just add +2 to your engineering skills, it's an easy implementation and would help a lot of people navigating the skill checks. This is all for now, I just want to make sure I put it out here in hope that Obsidian Dev read this.

Game Never Launches
Trackah123 replied to ad_giant's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I don't think this is a issue with Battle Net Launcher, but instead the Gaming Services Repair Tool thats included with the game. Likely cause : A corrupted Windows or partially-installed Gaming Services package or a Store/Xbox framework issue blocked the automated repair. 1 : Reset the Store deployment cache Press Win+R (or Command Prompt Terminal as Admin) → run: wsreset.exe When the Store opens, close it. 2 : Repair / Reset the Xbox & Microsoft Store apps Settings → Apps → Installed apps Xbox → Advanced options → Repair (then Reset if needed). Gaming Services → Advanced options → Repair (then Reset if needed). System → System components Microsoft Store → Advanced options → Repair (then Reset if needed). 3 : Reinstall Gaming Services (clean) Open Windows PowerShell (Admin) and run: get-appxpackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN In the Store page that opens, install Gaming Services, then reboot. 4: Verify Gaming services are running Open services.msc and ensure Gaming Services and Gaming Services Net are Running and Startup type: Automatic (Delayed Start). 5: Repair system files (in case 0x8000FFFF is OS-side) Open Command Prompt (Admin): sfc /scannow dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth Reboot. 6: Other things to consider Make sure you are signed into the Microsoft Store and Xbox app with the same account. Temporarily disable third-party AV or other software that can block or interfere with the game Make sure you are Administrator https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/gaming-services-repair-tool -

"Furthermore, we want to inform you that we will perform a price adjustment of Titan Quest II to reflect the currently available content on Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store. This will be changing from EUR/USD 29.99 to EUR/USD 34.99, effective November 11, 2025. This was the first wave and is in effect until further notice." Sure sounds like they plan to do it a lot more times. -
Aza Recruitment Bugged.
LazJones replied to misterwolf's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
If you continue on to the N-Ray Range she will be there and recruitable again. -
I don't have this problem but maybe if you right click on the game in Steam -> Properties -> Controller -> Override for The Outer Worlds 2 : Disable Steam Input. Would this work maybe? Another thing you could try is to look in Windows Event Log Viewer (run -> eventvwr.msc), so when the problem happens ingame and you reboot PC (hard reset), maybe you can find what causes it in the log viewer.

Cinema and Movie Thread: coming 2 a theater near u
LadyCrimson replied to PK htiw klaw eriF's topic in Way Off-Topic
They pointed out a camera on one of the halftracks (tanks) early in the walk, IIRC. But that was about the extent of it in the film. Also, IIRC, the novel had 100+ walkers, they would walk through towns/larger areas more often, with lots of side-fans/watchers, cameras, adding to the audience spectacle/sport-event of it. The decision to only have that slightly at the end wasn't a great one, imo. I wish they'd kept the watermelon-tossing man in there. Edit: also, Stebbin's chr. was given short shrift in the film. He was really important/influential in novel. -

It felt pointless to me. They were saying that stuff is being broadcasted on TV, but you never see any cameras or anything. Dunno what to think about the movie... I guess it wasn't terrible, but I also never ever want to see it again. -

Do More Harm Quest - Bug
Gxndalf replied to Ana Campos's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I hope this is fixed soon. Game is unplayable and I’m gonna have to shelve it until it’s fixed. Can’t fast travel out of the quest location. My last auto save doesn’t take me back enough and my last manual save file is 14 hours ago (I’m going to be manually saving a lot more after this!) -
Teddy's Haven (a fantasy shop simulator type game) - early access, single person dev, asset pack flip use I assume. Dev does small updates very frequently, like adding a new shop item, performance tweaks, other things. Recently he placed a giant new door into a rockface, purpose unknown. They've set it up where updates shouldn't require a new start, which is great. Haven't really played a "shop simulator" game before. They all mostly looked kinda boring/static, plus I don't care about being a mechanic or power wash or lawn care business. This one caught my attention because of the smallish "outside/world map" aspect, and cats and stuff. It has one of those (over time) repetitive loops (get resources to make stuff to sell/expand shop), and as you unlock/purchase more upgrades/crafting the loop becomes more interesting/fun. So it's charming, a bit funny, the fact you're not locked into a shop/can explore the small world is initially rewarding, and it's possibly the coziest of no pressure coziest. No time pressure, no combat, etc. There's no real challenge or boundaries (this is on purpose), it's a vibe, a design/deco shop layout, busy work. So it's been perfect for my current zone-out brain. Would I recommend it to the regulars of this forum? Nah. I mean, if such is your thing, it's a pretty good time waster. And it's cute. And has cats. And penguins, goats, giraffes occasionally show up to buy your wares, because I guess animals occasionally need a good dagger or two - which is funny. And you can buy this tiny Oreling, feed it excess stone, and it'll grow, and grow, and grow.....I'm still wondering if it has a size limit.
