  1. Today
  2. I watched Phantom of the Opera with the family (the movie) so clearly we are all in a musical mood. I also started Plur1bus with my wife. It was nowhere near what I was expecting. It is great though.
  3. For Context the Wall mounts are on the floor below
  4. So far all the Dual Wield Weapons (Other than Ice Sickles as I don't have them yet) don't seem to sit in the Wall Weapon Mounts Correctly, in the file attached is a example with the northern shredders (Mitey Claws follow the same) as for the Weaver and Wolfsbane Daggers they just seem to have their handles in the back of the wall mount while the blades stick out of the front like you gave the walls their mandibles.
  5. It is officially December and still no fall update for this game. I am extremely disappointed I used to think obsidian was one of the good devs. They were passionate and cared about the games they were making, while giving fans beautiful unique worlds with captivating stories. I have been excited for avowed since it was first announced. I pre-order and played the heck out of the game when it came out. The only gripe i had was no new game plus. I feel it is a feature all single player games should have, gives replayablilty, While also promoting the player to make new choices they have not made before and play the game again with a character that we spent many hours honing into the perfect character. Obsidian came out with an update roadmap only to give up on it. So there is no fall update it is December now. I feel they are burned out churning out games for $$$. They are selling games that are incomplete, they need multiple patches, which would be fine if they actually stuck to the road map. But again I know nothing about developing a game, im just a concerned fan. I just hope in The future obsidian is able to manage these situations better. I'm hoping to replay avowed soon and enjoy the amazing world and characters they crafted. I hope they come out with a statement claiming when the 1.6 update is actually coming out. Until then I guess I will just wait, thats all i can do.
  6. Replayed a bit as I got the DLC, maybe will replay the whole thing with them. Giving Argenta the bolter with AoE remains a bad idea, hilariously so as got her to suicide herself as a mob was a little too close.
  7. Balance Polishing mod contains a fix for this issue you could try? https://www.nexusmods.com/pillarsofeternity2/mods/438
  8. Super frustrating. There's gotta be a patch for this game breaking bug. What's going on Obsidian?
  9. also - Shadow Fang ability also does not apply damage-over-time from melee stealth. I guess because of the same bug.
  10. almost 7 years since last comment - the bug is still there. I'll report again in 7 years.
  11. Ambient sounds sometimes cut out in certain locations. It's particularly noticeable on The Incognito (in the area with the lockboxes) and in Francis Min's office on the Free Market Station. Some rifts also completely disable ambient sound effects and music (like the Goomerang rift on Paradise Island).
  12. Controller Aim Sensitivity isn't applied consistently across different weapon types. It applies correctly to Shotguns and Machine Guns, while the other weapon types are either barely affected (e.g. Light Pistols), or seemingly not affected at all (e.g. Minigun). Additionally, this setting is significantly less aggressive relative to Mouse Aim Sensitivity (which works correctly across different weapon types with the exception of Minigun). In general, Controller Aim Sensitivity needs to be applied uniformly regardless of the weapon type and/or scope, and the intensity of the effect needs to be upped (i.e. lower settings should match the intensity of Mouse Aim Sensitivity).
  13. Automech Scrapper persists even if Marisol isn't in the party — i.e. the player will get extra scrap from automechs. This is unrelated to the Scrapper perk that the player can select. Target body part analysis from N-Ray Scanner Analyzer persists even if Marisol isn't in the party — the game will still display Bleed, Stun & Knockdown (although the effects won't trigger).
  14. If you install Niles' Self-Repairing Armor Mod, a loud buzzing sound effect plays every time the player transitions to a new area or fast-travels. Removing the mod resolves the problem. This audio bug is similar to Valerie's Zyranium buzzing upon loading a new area.
  15. Japan will be helpful for sending the Chinese fleet to the bottom of the ocean. Again.
  16. it is hilarious that japan are trying to become militaristic again if there are anything can convince the content civilian to fanatically support military conflict again it is the terrible optic of japan military expansion
  17. I have decided to make an important and strategic change with my companions in LoreRim, I have left Viconia at an Inn and I have recruited 2 new female companions, Katana and Remiel Both these new companions are part of LoreRim and they very extensive, they have several side-quests and hundreds of lines of dialogue Viconia is a mod I added and she is limited in things apart from the same dialogue, combat skills and some sexlab options Katana has very interesting bounty hunter quests and is a good stealth asset Remiel is hilarious, she never stops talking and always has something to say. She is a Dwemer expert and she has already made a spider construct to help in combat called Scratch I also have a dog called Meeko Whats interesting is none of these 3 new companions is unbalancing combat and they get defeated more in combat than Viconia use to by herself. This must have something to do with how these are official LoreRim mods But by recruiting them I added a much more lively and interactive gaming experience for my travels and of course more quests
  18. Also liked the new Kevin Hart a lot. This weekend my son made us sit through 4 movies in The Dog Who Saved series. Do not recommend. Also, and completely unrelated, I made everyone sit through Sister Act. Way less singing and songs than I remembered. It was like halfway through the movie before the first nun jam.
  19. I finished "A Complication with the Computronic Cerebrum" without the help of any factions. Then I started doing faction quests and got stuck at “The Last Day of William Wray”. I did not have access to the floor of Auntie in the elevater. I saw other people had access through the quest "Recall Order for the Trifurcated Brain", but I never triggered that quest since I conquered the Archive alone. Attached is my save: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bozf2Y0QlhuhiEY1c3-veIq8vpL0oxUy/view?usp=sharing
  20. Yeah, same issue on my front after trying @Mirole's fix (I'd already opened the elevator and similar/ all other ones I could find elsewhere. Huge bummer. (I feel like being a badass who can choose to not give one faction leverage by asking for their reinforcements while being a talker who wants to unite the AC and the smarty-pants folk isn't a crazy direction...) Seems like an easy fix too - not like it changes the story outcome in any meaningful way. To reiterate as a completionist: Huge. bummer.
  21. Yesterday
  22. Finished all the KCD2 DLC. Warhorse definitely has a pattern with DLC (not great). Shield painting DLC. By far the worst, just quest pack essentially. The reward is being able to get your shield painted... I dont use shields so really doesn't matter. The KCD equivalent would be the "band of bastards" which was also a quest pack... although I found that one more interesting than this. Blacksmith DLC. Something to spend your money on. Tedious blacksmithing quests... upgrading blacksmith forge so you can upgrade it more. I enjoyed the blacksmithing so I like this one. KCD equivalent would be the rebuilding a town DLC. I like the blacksmithing so I prefer KCD2 DLC, but if you don't... the town was less hands on. Monestary DLC. It was fine. It's a whole new area to discover... lots of sneaking to find something, sneak back report, sneak to find new thing. The twist was fairly obvious from the start... was definitely not surprised. Basically there is a plague and you gotta find out where the plague started... except the monestary is locked down so you have to sneak. Felt a little dumb that you're working for the doctor but not allowed to investigate... the whole sneaking part seemed thrown in there so it's more difficult... otherwise it would be talk to this guy grab this thing talk to this guy rinse repeat. Also the DLC bugged so I had to sneak out of the monestary even though I saved everyone and got the best ending. If I get caught, failed DLC, if I didn't... im a hero! KCD equivalent would be "a woman's lot" which was much better in my opinion. You got to play as a new character (a woman) and it added context to the overall story. Just like the first game. The DLC was pretty hit and miss. So maybe there is a pattern for warhorse of good game, meh DLC. Now I am super overpowered for the main quest
  23. Not the dog too! The Roses I thought is was pretty good and it had me laughing in several parts. Small twists to the 1989 version. Kevin Hart: Acting My Age I like him as an actor and comedian and this one hit me right in the funnybone.
  24. For people who do not have friends and only prefer to play the offline version, it's actually boring to play it without a human NPC companion. An NPC that can cheer you up, talk with you, and give you praise and reactions to something you do. Developers, please put at least some human NPCs, a type, and npc that can become my companion, not just an insect or animal, but a human, and the other types a friendly and stay around the the village to help you fight the insects that come. At least put a small village where I can go interact with some NPCs. I will buy the game even if it is expensive if you put these features. I want to experience the feelings similar to the mocie calleed Arthur and the movie called the bugs life.
  25. Black Geyser Untagged spoilers below. Armour. I guess, the developers tried and just do not understand how armour works. Or they could have leaned into it and add spikes and a whip. A somewhat better armour, though the elf would not be able to sit without piercing her legs with it. Gods' Chosen/10. I have tried to get a better coat of arms. (While playing as a Rillow) The Rillow suck and my god is bigger than yours. No option to say that the "main" god is trash, though. Elyx got back up one more time to say hi. Incredibly dedicated guards - they question me even after death. The "men" were not at ease. The time did not stop and the infinite guards offed a "plot-critical character". Attempt #1. The explosion, apparently, was delayed. Attempt #2. Got softlocked later on. The only way to avoid the boss was ~5 hours ago. Mistakes were made. It is the only time when the phrase is spoken (and once in the codex), as far as I can tell. The PC took too much after his mother, I suppose. The bodyguards are ignoring the matriarch being killed. Attempt #3. Successful. I cannot quite recall if the giant zombies were friendly in the previous playthrough. And the bane of this playthrough (alongside the loading times, but can't take a screenshot of those), the tooltips. I was very creative with the names, I know.
  26. If use the respec option after the prologue It seems if you add or remove the Innovative trait with the respec option all crafting recipes that you had in the prologue are no longer in the crafting menu. This bug, then in addition to compact rounds you should also miss out on the recipes for distraction device, concussive mine, explosive grenade, mag picks and shunts. There is no way to gain them again. Only options are: start a new game and avoid the bug, always buy compact rounds or wait until this bug is fixed.
