I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

the cat is like "did you guys see that?"

Congratulations, you made me look for the entire video just so that I could confirm that the world is cruel place. You could have posted something funny or uplifting but instead I saw a leopard eat a newborn impala.

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

Hey, you are the one that brought the cruel reality here. I watched it and figured it played out like a Disney movie, and the Cheetah raised the young Impala as his own.

Sorry,  I know reality doesn't work like that just like I know that Disney is run by a bunch of bastards and pedophiles  that will exploit your love of their product for their own end. Like the bard sang "The more I see the less I believe"...a bit somber for the funny thread.

???

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Modern democracy is: the sheep voting for which dog will be the shepherd's right hand.

For the very British headline...

Why did they not take a picture of the entire article? There's not even a street address!

I've read some bad comic strips in this thread, but I think that one really takes the cake.

Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

It was so long and so terrible. I thought maybe it would get funny at the end or something, but it was just bleh.

edit: I've spent countless hours debating politics and religion and video games on this forum, but reading that comic really made me question if I am spending my time wisely here.

Personally, I would never want to visit Cambodia, Im more of a Thailand kinda guy, but maybe the comic is trying to show the societal differences between Eastern and Western culture?

And boiling it down to women in the West being...aggressive, abusive, manipulative?...and women in the East being...sweet and submissive? I mean, really, it just seems kind of pathetic...

Hey, I didnt write it! Just trying to find the point of it.

That's good, because it was pretty poorly written outside of the overall narrative, too. :p I also just remembered that it was posted here in the funny things thread...which seems an odd place for it if you're taking it at face value...maybe it's a parody of something else?

Probably just a case of; stereotype gon stereotype. Back in my day, the dark and unenlightened times it was generally considered that Eastern women were more subservient than Western women.

*ducks*

did they really aired that?
