Fardragon Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 I would like the option of randomising main character ability scores (without having to roll the dice myself). No reroll. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!

Mmmm... Maybe a mode. Like Path of Iron. Seems to me its just a harder version. Sounds fun! Edited February 20, 2017 by Leeuwenhart
Fardragon Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 Yes, I definately mean as an optional mode of play. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!
Gromnir Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 the devil is returned. join your voices and your souls to drive the foul existence back to the hell from which it were spawned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDNCkcC47eQ HA! Good Fun! ps honest. make optional wouldn't be so bad for Gromnir. such stuff is nevertheless a bane 'pon gaming as we know it. 1 "If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence."Justice Louis Brandeis, Concurring, Whitney v. MaxQuest Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 Maybe a mode. Like Path of Iron. Seems to me its just a harder version. Sounds fun! Path of RNJesus...) OT. If it was made an option, and would have no related achievements, why not. Just a nice, shinny Trial of Chaos checkbox near the ToI. PoE1 useful stuff: attack speed calculator, unofficial patch mod, attack speed mechanics, dot mechanics, modals exclusivity rules PoE2 useful stuff: community patch, attack speed mechanics, enemy AR and defenses
Varana Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 As an option: Why not. They apparently bring Big Head Mode back, which is equally useful. :D As default (or only way): BURN IT WITH FIRE!!! Therefore I have sailed the seas and come To the holy city of Byzantium. -W.B. Yeats Χριστός ἀνέστη!
iscalio Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I would like the option of randomising main character ability scores (without having to roll the dice myself). No reroll. How would the "no reroll" part work? Since you generate your stats at the beginning of the game, anyone desiring a reroll could just restart.

Micamo Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Why stop there? Make all your level-up decisions randomized. Make all your dialogue choices randomized. Make all your in-combat actions randomized. 2
Messier-31 Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I would like the option of randomising main character ability scores (without having to roll the dice myself). No reroll. Have someone else roll the dice for you? Methinks we have a volunteer It would be of small avail to talk of magic in the air...
Sedrefilos Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) Imo, when an rpg gives, even optionally, the ability to get random attribute rolls, is like it has a huge "BACKWARDS" tattoo on its forehead, implying other aspects of the game are backwards designed too.
