Astatine Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Calo Nord's armor was really good, and looked cool. Cassus Fett's looks kind of wierd... I really like the Mandalorian Assault armor you get from the Mando leader on the unkown world, because when you eqip that, it includes the helmet. I like suiting up Canderous like a true Mandalorian warrior. Ooh!Ooh! I know what I want in TSL, HELMETS! You could have a visor, a mask, or a full helmet that would be like another armor peice, but wouldn't interfere with powers and stuff. That's be cool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oooh. Seconded. Except it's probably too late

Charles Vrike Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Did you notice how Nemos robe dosen't look anything like the robe he's wearing? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> so I'm gessing he had 2 robes... i voted for reven's (sp?) robes. i used the blue robes untill i whent throught the kashyyic (sp? major) then whent for the quoma (sp?) and i got the sf or reven's.

waiveddreams Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I prefer the force and I dislike the heavy items
Catalyst Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I prefer going all uber-Jedi on people, which means only Jedi class items. Hence no armour, just robes. I used Qel-Droma Robes until I got hold of Revan's Robes, and then I was all disappointed because I didn't get to twirl my cloak and look dramatic.

oherror Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 i wore armor through the whole game but stuck to Cassus Fett's Armor once i was able to obtain it. Never used the robes, thought i looked cooler in armor as a jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But Cassus Fett's armour is pink!! so and you point would be...
Topaz Quasar Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 You do realize Jedi Robes are actually common garb on many planets right? I mean, you HAVE seen Owen Lars........haven't you?
nik_bg Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 For a jedi armour is useless because of force restrictions. For a range fighter heavy armour is also useless because of dexterity limitations. It is usefull only for melee non-jedi fighter.
Iolo Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 There should be an option for "Other (please specify)". I'm sure I didn't wear any of the above for my main character.

I mean, you HAVE seen Owen Lars........haven't you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe it's more like: When a John Doe wears a pair of robes, like several of them do, it's just robes. But when a Jedi wears them.... Archmonarch Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Wouldnt the robes have to be Force imbued for that theory to hold true? And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Meshugger Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Wouldnt the robes have to be Force imbued for that theory to hold true? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Huh? did i miss something? Aren't the Jedi wearing regular robes in order to blend in? I never heard that the Jedi wear robes that are force imbued. Catalyst Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I think the Jedi (or Sith) could imbue their robes with different properties if they wanted to. But otherwise they are all normal unless the wearers imbue them or modify them.
Archmonarch Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 According to your theory, the robes act differently for Jedi than they do for regular people. The only real difference between Jedi and most individuals is their control of the force. Thus, why would the robes act differently without some influence of the force. And Im fairly sure the Qel Droma/Starforge robes/Revan's robes were force imbued. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Adria Teksuni Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Agreed. For attribute bonuses, they'd certainly have to be SOMETHING imbued. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.

Vaeliorin Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I was also about robes up to Qel-Droma. I used the Star Forge robes at the end, but thought they looked terrible. Revan's robe looked pretty cool, though I only wore it to see what it looked like.
