He has confessed of being brought up in matriarchal household with little to no father figures or heroes, which also explains why his arguments sounds like a something a girl would make on the school playground with the same arrogance that comes with it, as boys don't hit girls. A normal man knows that that kind of attitude would get him beat up or even put behind the sauna as we say in Finland, but he simply doesn't understand for the reasons i just stated. If you drop all assumptions of him arguing like a man among men, but as a little Daisy trying asserting her dominance as queen hen of her pack and you can have a chuckle and move on. As for the Hillary case, i am still waiting for the scapegoat(s) to appear or to be found. Dude I was raised by a single mother, that's not a valid excuse. And look just so we're clear: I'm not blind to the fact I'm essentially screaming at a wall, I'm just too stubborn to give up, because it pains me to imagine someone like Bruce in any position of power exhibiting such a thought process while doing their job. So many people outside of the USA typically have completely misunderstood the rise of Trump and what it means...and it has been a complicated affair that confuses even Americans I was confused for several weeks but now I understand but to give you an example this is what people outside the USA may think and remember certain will always be negative about the USA Most people : are just shocked and concerned as they only see the Trump rhetoric and think he is racist. But basically everything Trump has said or done has been strategic Some people : " This just confirms what white Americans really think, they racist" Now I always correct this view because 11 million white people voted for Trump but there are 200 million white people in the USA ....its unfair attack on white people Muslims in SA : They already think the USA wants to destroy Islam so now they faced with open Islamophobia and realize things can get worse Some White Men in SA : Trump is right .....this is exactly what the USA needs !!! As always, feel free to debate the post, expose it and burn it to the ground, then salt the earth so it can never take hold again, but there is never an excuse to get personal and hurt insults. Guard Dog Posted July 4, 2016 Share Posted July 4, 2016 OK, I make it a point not to talk about other forum members here (except maybe Volo but he likes it) but I think you guys are a little hard on Bruce here. Yes he does have some opinions that sound like they might be designed to get a rise out of everyone but I believe he really does think that. I think he's being straight with you. Lets face it, there are folks in this world who will tell you grass is red even when you know it's green. Some of them ARE just screwing with you. Others genuinely can't understand why you keep calling that red grass green. I think Bruce is the latter. He sees things how he sees them and if he can't always back up his opinions with logic (referring to the SJW stuff here) at least he can do it with passion. Most of us came by our political philosophies honestly. We lived the lives we lived, learned the lessons we learned and it just grows from that. I figure Bruce is no different than anyone on that count. This board would be dull as hell if we all agreed with each other. We come here and debate with each other because it's fun to do it. Not because we are trying to convince anyone of anything. I'be been posting here for twelve years now (Jesus Christ really?) and I can't really say I've changed anyone's mind about anything, but I did get to find out what other folks think and WHY they think it. I know why some people " dislike " me and its because my view on certain topics I wont comprise on. For example there is a reason the West and places like the USA and the EU are the most successful and progressive places in the world. Its not because " white people run those countries " thats just because of the history of Europe. Its because Western countries have realized certain core values, institutions and policies provide for the best overall systems of governments and lead to there citizens having a good quality of life ...but people like Drowsy or Zora believe that the West are hypocrites and there hegemony is some false reality That doesn't bother me, I have heard the same anti-Western views since 9/11 ...and its all BS and based on hyperbole But the people on this thread who think I'm an idiot or a troll will never explain what they mean or give examples. But end of the day I want to engage with people who want to have a debate ..like you.
