VtM: Bloodlines released, which is not exactly a surprise since the news leaked a while ago. Pretty expensive for a 12 year old game though as Kotick gotta Kotick.

 

Also rotating bundle sales (iD shooters, LA adventure games, BitTrip, Horror now).

    Grabbed the currently available X bundle and Bloodlines. Yay. :)

    Given it's Chernobyl's 30th anniversary I suppose it was inevitable they'd have a STALKER bundle (+Metros) for both the people who don't have them already.

     

    Every time I see footage from the exclusion zone I'm struck by how perfectly the STALKERs captured the atmosphere.

    So GOG released Shadows of the Empire. It's been a long while since I played that...

    Does anyone know if the GoG version of Disciples 2 functions on Win 7? I couldn't achieve much with the Steam version. >.>

    Just tried the GOG version on Windows 10 and it works fine. I'm pretty sure I used to play it on Win7 too since I finished the game about 4 years ago for the first time. If you don't feel like rebuying it I'm pretty sure just messing around with graphics options should do the trick too (I think disabling transparency effects or some such helped me when I was trying non-GOG version? Not sure now.)

    The GoG version seems to work fine; (just tested Rise of the Elves).

    Had no particular reason to connect them, but did it anyway and it went smoothly. Nine titles in the list, but six of them I already owned on GOG anyway, so the three remaining were Trine, Shadowrun Returns and Surgeon Simulator 2013.

     

    Incidentally there doesn't seem to be a way to upgrade the GOG copy of the latter game into the Anniversary Edition, despite both editions existing on GOG. Presumably I'd have to spend the 59c to upgrade my Steam version then re-transfer, which seems a little silly.

    Maybe GOG shot themselves in the foot here by announcing GOG Connect before the sale. A quick look and most titles I'd buy are just ones I already own in some form and want a GOG copy of. :p
