Amentep
I wondered if they met on an online dating site; its not specified in the article that I could tell. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
BruceVC
I wondered if they met on an online dating site; its not specified in the article that I could tell. I tell you something else coincidental since you seem interested I knew her from the strip club she worked at http://www.lollipoplounge.co.za/ But I never overdo the whole friendship with the girls ..I will party with them but not see too much of them because our lifestyles are fundamentally different and we have different goals "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. No its fine I promise, its considered an average strip club in JHB...not that upmarket but the girls are friendly and don't mind you talking to them for hours if they enjoy your company and you dont act weird And for me if I can't talk to the girls there is no point so it works for me "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. You see when I read a comment like this I am always reminded how many of you guys just don't understand me or don't go to strip clubs When I go to strip clubs why would I push any SJ agenda ? I go there to admire the female form and party but I treat the girls with absolute respect ....and you know what most of the girls really appreciate that. They are use to a certain level of either contempt or salaciousness from guys but when they meet someone who just seems to really want to chat but not in a weird way they appreciate it....and yes I wont lie of course this has benefits for me. They normally end up partying with me afterwards which is actually much harder to get right then it seems. Darkpriest
Hey i don't judge. I've been to some parties with these kind of girls. My friend even dated one for quite some time and she was from one of those more expensive clubs. Each to their own, but i find it a little bit funny as a lot of SJWs just go bonkers at the mere idea of strippers and 'escorts'. Even the recent Amnesty International decision - pushing to general public a stance about not penelizing the call girls and their clients brought a lot of heated debate. Meshugger
Slightly related to GG, but the Hugo awards underwent an interesting moment to say the least. Several writers who felt that they were marginalized due to political reasons (=not being SJWs) joined together in order to be nominated. What happened? The following awards were granted with the "No Award" instead: -Best Novella-Best Short Story-Best Related Work-Best Editor, Long Form-Best Editor, Short Form ...and these are the rules according to the Hugo committe itself: You should vote for No Award as your first choice if you believe that none of the nominees are worthy of the Award, or that the Award category should be abolished. So when writers fight back, the answer is to burn the whole thing down. Kinda like the whole "Gamers are dead", don't you think? "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Oerwinde
Even George RR Martin criticized the No Award strategy because many in the puppies slate were valid nominees based on their work and he's firmly in the SJW camp, he's just not an ****. Quote from him from a while back "They started this whole thing by saying the Hugo Awards were rigged to exclude them. That is completely untrue, as I believe I demonstrated conclusively in my last post. So what is happening now? The people on MY SIDE, the trufans and SMOFs and good guys, are having an endless circle jerk trying to come up with a foolproof way to RIG THE HUGOS AND EXCLUDE THEM. God DAMN, people. You are proving them right." He also talked about how voting no award just because a deserving nominee was nominated by the puppies is akin to McCarthyist guilt by association, which is exactly how SJWs operate. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
GhoulishVisage
Apparently prior to this the "No Award" award has only been given five times in total in the history of the Hugos, the last time in 1977. When in doubt, blame the elves. Nonek
If you think the public side of the Hugo business has been rather dramatic, well you really should overhear some of the calls between publishing houses, authors and panelists. Polite intensity of a near thermonuclear level. 1 Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
