RodWarrior
I know this is probably not a game most of you will play, but, just in case, I'm opening this thread so people that want to comment on the game or play it together can joing each other! Feel free to chat about the game, put screens and send your data if you wish to play online. Also, maybe if enough people want to play together, we should make a crew or something? ---- April 14 is the official launch! :D Just 1 day left! Leferd
I'm still waiting on the Grand Theft Auto 1 & 2 spiritual successor Kickstarter. I hear top down view late 90's remakes are the rage now. 2 "Things are funny...are comedic, because they mix the real with the absurd." - Buzz Aldrin."P-O-T-A-T-O-E" - Dan Quayle
Jazou
I'm still not sure if I will get it. Already played (completed) the story back in the days on my brothers PS3 but never went online. Do you think it's worth getting it with main focus on the online multiplayer? Is it actual fun or more kind of boring in comparison to the single player? Malcador
Icehancer dev made some comments on GTA V "Checked the latest pics, graphics settings and stuff of V as it's everywhere. As expected, the game does not require graphical modding (maybe color processing but that's it). Had a talk with Boris and he's also wondering the same thing, it seems to be not worth it and the features we and he can implement are mostly minor features like he said which is true. Game already had a lot of tech on PS4/One. I have V on 360/PS4/One and the only thing that could maybe bother me was the weather/colors, that's pretty much it. Game has its own artistic way and it fits the game. I'll modify the game but in the future, not now. Game is already pretty, people will surely modify it before me and do graphic mods with Reshade or SweetFX or whatever. I don't like these kinds for a game like that. But I don't wanna use these to modify the game, actually we don't even need it. (But Crosire did an amazing job on it, and it's very good for older games to make them shiny again). What I would like to see at least is proper lighting. I went to LA for a long time enough to know how it looks like in terms of textures and lighting/color. V is pretty close, especially near Venice Beach it's like an exact copy. Time will tell, game is already protected for GTA Online as I expected and that's good. Because with a simple depth hack you could even see people behind alpha stuff (like grass or bushes) so that's good. On my side, I think I'll restart doing iCEnhancer C which I stopped doing in January after the video, lack of time. Even if there is no one playing it, I will still play it in anyway. I like IV. smile emoticon And I'll take a look at the time cycle stuff of V, see what we can change. I don't have the game yet, I didn't preorder it or whatever, because I already have it on consoles and I don't even play it on consoles anymore, maybe PC will make me more interested in it. So that's it, just wanted to share this with you, guys. Have a nice day or night. Thanks." 1 Why has elegance found so little following? BruceVC
indeed there is, Taken style Okay but that's not the same thing as Rape so my moral code won't be compromised playing this game "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. Hurlshort
You guys interact with Bruce in the weirdest way. You get that he is just hamming up the SJW stuff because you guys make such a big deal about it, right? I already have it on the PS4. It looks and plays great. I'm worried it will melt my laptop so I will stick to that version.

Would love to play the pc version, but from what I've read, the minimum specs would run the game well only at 800 X 600 and while my comp is a bit better, I still think it'll look and play better on the ps4. Same thing with the Witcher though. Someday I'll spring for a new desktop
sorophx
upon launch Steam tried to download the whole game again, making my pre-load useless and forcing me to wipe the drive and redownload the whole thing. Agiel
I was taken aback when people on my Steam friends list who had relayed to me that they had somewhat outdated machines were playing GTAV. Then I remembered "Oh yeah, huh. This one doesn't need a Cray supercomputer to run it well like the last GTA game on PC did." 1 Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling
