Yeah I am watching this story as I write

 

It seems to have been a surgical attack by professionals. Seems to linked to ISIS, according to the French security services they have prevented several attacks recently but this one slipped through. Also this was pointed out that the attackers didn't want to necessarily kill innocents, they targeted people working for the newspaper only 

Most likely people returning from training in the Syria-region.

Two of the dead were apparently cops. The poor guys had little chance against assault rifles.

I expect any newspaper that truly believes in the freedom of the press to republish it. Also, if any one of you see anyone on the internet (twitter, imgur, instagram, facebook) that salute the killers, archive it and report it to the authorities.

Yes they were innocent but not to the attackers, they only targeted the newspaper. They didn't just plant bombs to kill anyone and everyone, like we see with other terrorist attacks like the  7 July 2005 London bombings

Commiserations to the deceaseds families and friends, it seems such a trite and small thing to say, but there are of course no words or justifications for such an atrocity. Hopefully the magazine will recover and arise to champion free speech against the evil fanatics whom wish to silence it through the use of force of arms.
