Flow Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 There was a mysterious ~18MB update to the beta yesterday. Any idea what this was?
Fiebras Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) Was this a thing before? jk, Ive only just gotten around to using the scarab and spider figurines you start with. The patch might be to fix the health bug or something. Edited October 1, 2014 by Fiebras
Lillyhime Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I don't recall the female Moon (and Fire) Godlike's having hair before, and now they do. Granted, I hadn't tried the beta since I moved into my new PC a week or so back, so its possible my laptop simply hadn't been displaying their hair.
Elerond Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Patch added "_CommonRedist" director and its content "installscript.vdf" "vcredist_x64.exe" and "vcredist_x86.exe". As they are only files that are modified in same day as patch come and director's size is 18.3 MB.

That was added for Moon Godlike, at least, on 301 when I tried it on the first day. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
Caladian Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) And I thought I was going crazy. I really hope they fixed some memory leak. Starting the game is fine but after a while, it just eats up all of my memory. Edited October 1, 2014 by Caladian
BAdler Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 This was probably a change that I made to add Visual C++ 2010 Redistributables as part of the installation process. We have been getting some odd bugs that we were only seeing on specific machines and we tracked it down to people not having those redistributables installed on their machines. No stealth fixes (other than the fixes caused by not having the redistributables). Sorry, everyone.
