Keyrock Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I got that when I clicked to look at it but ended up getting it. Meh. Jack Keane 2 for free would be ok Well, it's not like you got ripped off at that price. It's not a completely horrible game, but it was a disappointment after the original Still Life, which was quite decent. Labadal Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Gotten two free games and Consortium for a fiver so far. A few games bought on STEAM. Backlog will never end.
babaganoosh13 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Moebius is still $15 for the next hour. You see, ever since the whole Doritos Locos Tacos thing, Taco Bell thinks they can do whatever they want.
babaganoosh13 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Torchlight's free right now if you didn't get it last summer, or whenever. 1 You see, ever since the whole Doritos Locos Tacos thing, Taco Bell thinks they can do whatever they want.
Keyrock Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) Torchlight is free on GOG for the next hour or so. Edit: I see babaganoosh beat me to it. Edited June 24, 2014 by Keyrock RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks
Malcador Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Have a free copy of Torchlight if anyone misses it being free currently. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
Guest Slinky Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I'm pretty sure I have every single game from GOG I want, and still I keep going back there to check the sales like a junkie. Bit afraid I'll start buying games I won't ever play before long.

Majek Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Wait, are we supposed to play the games bought on gog? 1.13 killed off Ja2.
Malcador Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Age of Wonders 3 is still more expensive than Steam's sale on it. Wonder why that is. sorophx Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 in the meantime GOG releases my all-time favorite RTS game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp18OG3Tmhg 1 Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Guest Slinky Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Just be aware it's not the original Z, it's a PC port of the mobile device version and apparently has horrible controls. I wonder why the hell GOG released that version instead of the original.

Guest Slinky Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 GOG.com Now Supports Linux 50 games in the first wave and more will come in the future, both native linux versions and custom builds made by GOG.
Keyrock Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) GOG.com Now Supports Linux 50 games in the first wave and more will come in the future, both native linux versions and custom builds made by GOG. Pretty cool. Most of those "custom builds" are just old DOS games running in DOSbox (same as they do on Windows), which you could always run on Linux in DOSbox, but at least now it's all "out of the box" install and play, rather than configuring DOSbox yourself. Curiously, The Witcher 2 is not among the initial rollout of Linux games on GOG despite the fact that there's a Linux version available on Steam. I imagine they're probably waiting for the kinks to get ironed out by the company that did the OpenGL wrapper for it (there was a nasty memory leak among other issues back when I played it a month or two ago) before they unveil it on GOG. I'm still not sure why the game didn't take off because it had some interesting and well executed ideas. Edited July 24, 2014 by Serrano

sorophx Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 OMG OMG!!! One of the best PSP JRPGs on GoG!!! looks like an inferior clone of FFT. added to wishlist but can't justify spending 17$ on it Walsingham said: I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. Labadal Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 It plays nothing like FFT. It's an rpg with turn-based combat on grids, that's the only thing they have in common. It's not even a trpg, it's a good old rpg.
Volourn Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Final Fantasy wannabe, DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Labadal Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Final Fantasy wannabe, Not really. the combat isn't remotely similar and the tone of the game is nowhere near a Final Fantasy game.
Volourn Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Sorry, it is. That's not enccessarily a bad thing but that's exactly what it is. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
