Yeah it's only about the rights for people like that, not that they feel disenfranchised, powerless without weapons to kill other people and deeply afraid of the world.. nope..

Hitting someone with a puffy bat is psychologically a lot different from shooting a representation of someone.. On top of that they add bleeding - now to each his own, but I think that's very disturbing.

I have to say calm the f*** down. Existing domestic (ex) violence isn't at its insane levels because some door to door salesman has been handing out female dolls.

This is just about demonising NRA members. Which is unhelpfully antagonistic.

It's a blanket organisation for lobbying the interests of the gun industry. The article presents it more or less like the NRA all voted to show off their disturbing target dolls at their convention.

The titile says 'NRA vendor'. The NRA doesn't sell anything. So, although they are mostly correct in their demonising of the NRA we like to pretend to be able to represent both sides when writing an article. Otherwise it's just an opinion piece. There are enough of those already.

You know Ros, I'm a member of the NRA. A Lifetime Member for that matter. I own six rifles, three pistols, two shotguns, and a number of collectors pieces that will never be fired again. I have well over 1k rounds of ammunition for my weapons either at my house or in storage. Do you think I conform to your little stereotype? Do I strike you as someone who feels powerless or disenfranchised or afraid of the world or some nut who buys guns in the hope they get to kill someone? That you would even think that's how most NRA members are is utterly clueless on your part. I guessing you have never met many NRA members (an accident of geography, not any fault of yours) but if you did I think you would see we do not, by the largest part, conform to the propaganda the political left spreads about us simply because we oppose their political ends.

Besides, there is a huge leap from shooting targets of any type to actual people. And Alan freely admitted the fact of the article and post were not what they appeared and so what if they were not. Everyone needs to pull the stick our of their a***s

And when we play games and are shooting/hacking to bits phisical representations of other human beings?

I understand what you're getting at, but also understand how easy it is to see the wrongness in almost any human activity.

That is an excellent point. I shot the Powder Ganger Chavez in FONV from a mountain top with a sniper rifle. I went Rambo in Vault 3 with the dog machine gun from Old World Blues. Neither means I harbor any desire to do it for real.

First off, this is gross.

Secondly, what a huge waste of money.

Thirdly, this really has nothing to do with the NRA.  It is simply a tasteless vendor.  I'd be more worried if I heard it sold like hotcakes.

Wow. I've had my share of bad break ups but it is usually fixed by heavy drinking and complaining to friends until they can't take it anymore.

Well, I guess if it works for you.

Running over old ladies and butchering children while laughing maniacly seems creepy to me. Especially given the fidelity the games have these days.

That's true. I don't think I've ever successfully completed a strategy game without using genocide or a dozen other things that would land me in The Hague.
