Keyrock Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) I'm curious how RE:Revelations will turn out. Well, the original game on 3DS was my 2012 GotY across all platforms and what I consider to be the best Resi game ever made. As long as the port is good, it should be terrific. At the very least, I can tell you that it's a throw back to the likes of Resi 1 & 2, minus the horrific camera and controls (assuming they translate the controls to m&kb and controllers well) of those classics. LadyCrimson Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 https://twitter.com/IGN/status/324963986418311170....interesting. Even more so if it's not a zombie game. Serrano Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) The game looks a bit similar (aesthetically) to Silent Hill Homecoming, which I consider to be a good thing. I hope the live-action and teaser trailers were just bad marketing. Edited April 19, 2013 by Serrano
BruceVC Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 The game looks a bit similar (aesthetically) to Silent Hill Homecoming, which I consider to be a good thing. I hope the live-action and teaser trailers were just bad marketing. Project Zwei is "The Evil Within" Wow that trailer is off the hook, it looks amazing and quite terrifying. It reminds me a little of the second season of American Horror Story which is set in that mental asylum "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" - Nelson Mandela
Nonek Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Somebody's sneezed on that last screenshot. 1 Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin. Tea for the teapot!
Starwars Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Hm, fun to see a new horror franchise but I thought that trailer *really* tried way too hard. It also gave me a sense of... having seen it all before, it feels old. Still, hopefully the game will be good! Rosbjerg Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 So boxhead instead of pyramidhead it seems very Silent Hill'ish.. Fortune favors the bald.

Serrano Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 However unlikely it is, I really hope that is Columbo in the last screenshot.
Morgoth Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 The Bureau (rebranded XCOM shooter) to be announced soon I never gave up on this, and now see how it's coming back from the dead. "Hope" and "Yes we can" and all that. 1 Rain makes everything better.

LadyCrimson Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 "The Evil Within" ....so is this just another action-y mutant zombie game, then? Not survival/horror rpg? Kinda looks that way. Ah well. Not for me. 1 “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts

Rosbjerg Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 It's interesting how this very stylized horror usually involves barbed wire, asylums (or clean and sterile places turned dirty and run down) mixed with mutations, deformities and generally a mix of biological monstrosity and mechanically torturous. And of course a huge man with some object as a head.. It's like a sub genre now. 2 Fortune favors the bald.
