I'm curious how RE:Revelations will turn out.

Well, the original game on 3DS was my 2012 GotY across all platforms and what I consider to be the best Resi game ever made.  As long as the port is good, it should be terrific.  At the very least, I can tell you that it's a throw back to the likes of Resi 1 & 2, minus the horrific camera and controls (assuming they translate the controls to m&kb and controllers well) of those classics.

Thanks. I have heard it's supposed to be great, but not why.

....interesting. Even more so if it's not a zombie game. :p So tired of big-title "horror"=zombies lately.

The game looks a bit similar (aesthetically) to Silent Hill Homecoming, which I consider to be a good thing. I hope the live-action and teaser trailers were just bad marketing.

Wow that trailer is off the hook, it looks amazing and quite terrifying.

It reminds me a little of  the second season of American Horror Story which is set in that mental asylum :w00t:

Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.

I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin.

Tea for the teapot!

"The Evil Within"

....so is this just another action-y mutant zombie game, then? Not survival/horror rpg? Kinda looks that way. Ah well. Not for me.

It's interesting how this very stylized horror usually involves barbed wire, asylums (or clean and sterile places turned dirty and run down) mixed with mutations, deformities and generally a mix of biological monstrosity and mechanically torturous.

And of course a huge man with some object as a head.. It's like a sub genre now.

Okay I know I am easily pleased but that summary of the game is exactly what I expect from these types of horror survival games

Also because Bethesda is behind the game I am even more confident it will be a success
