Hello, it seems to me that "eternity project" is a code name.

What is the real name of the game please ?

Thanks :)

Haven't been decided yet.

Kind of funny, since the project is already so well known from Project Eternity and P:E

I don't mind the new name, but it would be cool the the name could still be abbreviated as ''PE/P:E''. Different name but still started with P and E. Might reduce the confusion.

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

"WOOOOOOOOOO"

Project Eternity has become so well-known by now that it'd be sensible too keep it as "Eternity". Maybe make it "[HEADLINE]: Eternity", in the vein of "PLANESCAPE: Torment", or "Forgotten Realms: Baldur's Gate", etc.

I figure that Calmar is right. So many people are talking about "Project Eternity" already, they would be foolish not to use that name. Seeing that "Eternity" is a quite nice name for a fantasy rpg anyway, it would work well :)

I'd like that too, seems like a nice throwback to the KS campaign.

I actually wouldn't mind Project Eternity as the name of the game. It could reference some kind of mad-wizard-experiment to achieve immortality or something like that...

I would definitely agree that at this stage, the name Project Eternity has significant brand awareness (ugh) so just keeping it as the name must be a consideration.

If not that, then impossible to say at this point. Maybe something with Soul in the title, although Demon's/Dark Souls have kind of nabbed that one at the moment.

Hmm.. Pathways of Eternity?

Just a thought.

I used to the name or PE for short, so maybe it could be kept or certainly part of the name kept

The name won't have anything to do with Eternity.

Eternity was always supposed to be a nod to the Infinity Engine right? so i take Eternity will be the name of the new engine (unless they have already state what engine they are working with and i am completly off with my comentary here).

Unity engine.

Eternal Eternity

I thought Eternity was official name?

I thought Eternity was official name?

Nope

Even though it'd probably be terrible from a marketing standpoint I wouldn't mind it having the word or a direct reference to "Ouroboros" in it.

They should call it Infinity.

They should call it: The Realm of Woo

They should call it Eternity Online.

No wait, that's actually terrible. But something with Eternity in it makes sense considering how much that word is associated with the project. And it fits well with the concept of souls and reincarnation within the game as well.
