SummerDay Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Larian's new game is also co-op. For a person who doesn't play MMO's, multiplayer or co-op, that's pretty disappointing. What's the difference between "there", "their" and "they're"? Apparently, none.
Morgoth Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 And there I hoped for a moment it was a singleplayer driven game. Why am I not surprised at all? Rain makes everything better.
WorstUsernameEver Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 You can play the campaign solo and control both characters, from what I understand, though I'm not sure how it will work.
HoonDing Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 It'll probably work like Beyond Divinity. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Morgoth Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Some more Divinity screenshots and concept art Rain makes everything better.
Malcador Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 PCG has a short article on it, as well http://www.pcgamer.c...ivine-divinity/ Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra
WorstUsernameEver Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 It'll probably work like Beyond Divinity. How did Beyond Divinity work? Did it have two companions that could split and could both interject in conversations? The way the article words it, it sounds like this is the first time they're attempting something like this, rather than refining their older model.
HoonDing Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 It happened that the Dead Knight would interject in conversation, but rarely. But you could split the party and control each one seperately. It's nothing special, Dungeon Siege 1+2 were the same. Their old canceled RPG, LMK, actually had three characters. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Morgoth Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I don't know why, but I got a good feeling about this. Will end up buying day 1. Rain makes everything better.
Majek Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I'm quite taken by the promises too. And it's gonna be turn based. o.ob Hope they can deliver. 1.13 killed off Ja2.

Morgoth Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Quantic Dream's new project to be revealed at Sony's E3 press conference. Rain makes everything better.
C2B Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Do you get it? These games are the cancer of the game industry. If (for example) Persona 4 is the cancer of the video game industry we still have it plenty good. (Can't speak for Unchained Blades though, know nothing about that) Edited May 29, 2012 by C2B

Orogun01 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 snip I don't know why, but I got a good feeling about this. Will end up buying day 1. Man and woman holding hands while it says "original sin" in big scarlet letters, if I didn't know better I would think this was a romance novel (or a BW game, zing). But I guess I'll bite too. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
Morgoth Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Man and woman holding hands while it says "original sin" in big scarlet letters, if I didn't know better I would think this was a romance novel (or a BW game, zing). Guy and Gal holding hands is not BioWare style romance at all. They are much more hardcore than that. Rain makes everything better.
Morgoth Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Action Adventure games are the best. ...'specially if they come from CDProjekt. Rain makes everything better.

Mamoulian War Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Jack Tretton confirms: Playstation 4 will NOT block used games (German). Microsoft must get really lonely lately. If this is really true, Sony already won me for the next generation... EDIT: But at this link, Mr. Pachter said it was only Jack Tretton's personla oppinion and that he does not yet know what is the view on this in Japanese HQs. http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/bonusround/605 Edited May 29, 2012 by Mamoulian War Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC.
