Besides, it's time for a new engine. It's gonna be HL3. Although the game itself will be crap, the engine might be useful for other game studios. Not sure if I will buy Risen 2 on release. A part of me would like to, but another part of me isn't really interested in it right now. Especially since the latest news about two day 1 quest DLCs popped up, from which one is in the special edition and the other additionally in this special, special edition. HoonDing Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 Seems like more of the same of Risen, but better. Find special weapon to beat Titan. But the next game will probably be on the mainland. The only way to beat Titans is to return the gods to the world. Having to find a special weapon to kill each Titan is a bit impractical otherwise; though I thought all Titans looked like the one from Risen, I don't recall him having a name or being "the" Titan of Fire. IIRC they made a big deal about the Titan Lord armour was once used to kill a ****load of Reapers Titans thousands of years ago. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI. Psychonauts and Monkey Island are exceptions (and decent games underneath). Also, PA isn't very funny when you're no longer 14. I'd love an Order of the Stick turn-based D20 RPG.
