Orogun01
Still holding my breath for the one FPS that won't all "Warrr, **** yeah!" and actually explores the emotional burden of war. But that would be good storytelling and games don't do that I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you. But that would be good storytelling and games don't do that Somehow I don't think an FPS is suited to exploring the emotional aspect of war, at least to a noticeable degree. Attempts to do it would be somewhat interesting/funny, though. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

But that would be good storytelling and games don't do that I would rather a good shooter in the vein of "Serious Sam", or Monolith's "Blood" to one in the style of "Saving Private Ryan", or "Tears of the Sun". But that would be good storytelling and games don't do that Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 tried it, was'nt all bad and the game was awesome to me. Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. WorstUsernameEver
And probably more useful - Hitman Absolution 16 min playthrough The problem is that Hitman games, fundamentally, shouldn't play like what I have seen in that video. But maybe it's just the tutorial level and the sandbox levels and the complexity are still there.

But instead they should play like the Hitman games only you can see in your head. Ok then. Gotcha. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish! All the intro levels are like that in the Hitman series, so I think it's better to reserve judgement until we see some other levels.. Very Splinter Cell / Deus Ex though, although I kinda liked the takedowns, especially the "shhhh". Evil right there. Fortune favors the bald. Yes, especially as hitman games have been traditionally known as only being playable in a single way. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Malcador
Doesn't look too bad, the new voice sucks even though he says all of three words, heh. Orogun01
And probably more useful - Hitman Absolution 16 min playthrough Don't like the new acrobatic aspect, I think they should downplay it. The skill that lets you see through walls seems a bit overkill and may just kill my experience; I hope that it doesn't play that way on higher difficulty levels. But I really liked the one for the yellow bar when he is trying to avoid suspicion. I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
