Gfted1 Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Taking a few moments to fill out the passport renewal form. Reached the end, and caught the bit about "fees". Apparently if renewing your passport by post, they give you another form to add to the envelope that you can fill out all your credit card details. And has to include the security code. Now is it me, or is putting all of that in the post just a wee bit.. paranoia inducing? Could you get away with using a money order? "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"

There was just something about the way they provide an extra form and emphasise "you must include the security code when you add this to the post" if you try to use a credit card that had me arching an eyebrow. Hurlshort Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 My back has tightened up suddenly. I was planning on going for a run in bit, and now I'm not sure if that is wise anymore.

Beer and a hot bath, mate. I'm at work, so both of those might be a little awkward. I went for the run anyways and it actually feels better, then I ate some quiche in our breakroom. I also ate a Luna bar, which is apparently for women, so I complained to my coworkers about menstrual cramps.
Fionavar Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I have introduced a yoga and core regiment to my running routine - it has taken a lot of work, but have been pain-ish free for almost a year fwiiw. Fionavar Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Thanks everyone for the meeting reflections ... perhaps there was even an haiku in there Today is quieter - going to take the pack to the Dog Park and then maybe play with WordPress here and there ... Gorgon Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Imagine what you could do with a whole regiment of dragons. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
Walsingham Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Imagine what you could do with a whole regiment of dragons. Knowing my luck it'd be cleaning up the parade square after them... EDIT: Colleague of mine has agreed to help out with a project I'm working on. BUt I jsut realised that he's got a degenerative disorder which means he'll probably never see the bloody thing built. Fionavar Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Thanks for the clarification ... I guess the Squad could be considered a regiment ... but I have no influence about yoga with them The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
Guard Dog Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I learned how to can my own vegtables today. And I learned how to make strawberry preserves. The internet.... it's really is good for more than free porn. Almost everything in the garden is ready to pick. I've got some very fat tomatos, about twenty bushels of black-eye-peas (too bad no Fergie) and about forty pounds of yellow squash (around 19 kg for you civilized folks) and a bunch of strawberries. I think I'm going to go bigger next spring. I have to admit, it's a little bit of hard work but I can see what they say it is relaxing. Raithe Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Had pondered building a small fire from the cut down limbs of the bay tree, and having a cigar. But the sky has gotten cloudy .. and that might hit my moody disposition the wrong way. "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."

Krookie Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 today I looked through some of my old posts on this forum, it's pretty weird that I've been here for like 6 years now. I'm only 19. I practically grew up on this forum. Thanks for all being so entertaining

Flouride Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 For some reason I tend to wake up around 9:10 - 9:30 no matter what time I go to bed. Really annoying. Hate the living, love the dead.

The internet.... it's really is good for more than free porn. http://www.economist.com/node/21529062 I guess it's inevitable that lower education will begin to follow what some colleges/universities are doing here in the US and other places too I understand, a 100% online curricula with minimal or no face to face interaction with teachers. I really don't know if that is a good thing or not? I guess some people will do well that way, others may need the more traditional way.
