Flouride Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 You're good at this, funcroc. He didn't inform us about the two artists you hired. (Or I missed those posts) Hate the living, love the dead.

Sannom Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 So, there was still some work done on Dungeon Siege 3 as far as August 2011, hey? Maybe we will have those patches or DLCs after all.

WorstUsernameEver Posted August 25, 2011 Author Posted August 25, 2011 I'm starting to doubt that Obsidian will announce any other full-blown project this year... which is disappointing, considering I'm still skeptical on the possibility of some DLC for Dungeon Siege III that isn't some kind of free patch + a couple of abilities new enemies/maybe an arena mode to raise sales. Would be glad to be proven wrong on all accounts, though.
Morgoth Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 F:NV is so last year. Time to put up the tough panties Obsidian and announce something new! And no, I don't mean Dungeon Siege 3 DLC by that! Rain makes everything better.

It's definately better this way than announcing something like years before they are even ready to show us anything *cough* AP and Aliens *cough*. Anyways there's still 4 months left to announce stuff Hate the living, love the dead.

C2B Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 (edited) Background Enviroment Art? Am I right to assume this could be their 2D title? Edited September 3, 2011 by C2B
Sannom Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I think all of funcroc's recent discoveries hinted at the development of a 2D game, or at least a game that uses a lot 2D backgrounds and environments. With all the people who are putting their work on that project on their Linked In profile, I wonder if we are near to an announcement or something of the sort?
Morgoth Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Well there's a lot of gameing related events this month and early October, so chances are we will get something announced. Though personally I though PAX Prime would have been the best place announcing a new project, given it's also in the US and focused on independent devs. Rain makes everything better.

I was more wondering because of XBOX360/PS3/PC. So we have a plattform now. Or was that mentioned before? Edited September 3, 2011 by C2B
Pop Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Given MCA's recent comments about downloadable games being much more flexible than retail in terms of creative and time restraints, I'm interested in seeing what they've got (if it's 2D you can bet on it being a Live Arcade-style game). Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
