Guest Slinky Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) Two Worlds 2 for 13,60 Euro and Dragon Age 2 for 24,99 Euro. You can get DA2 for much less pretty much from anywhere, it's 12.5€ in play.com for example. Edited July 3, 2011 by Slinky
Hurlshort Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I'm super excited for Two Worlds 2. Dropping it from $50 to $18 is an awesome discount, and now I can finally play it. I'm glad I waited.
entrerix Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 ditto for me Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.
Tale Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Decided to pick up Two Worlds 2, as well. Only other game I've gotten this sale is Spacechem. And you know what? Spacechem is awesome. Most intellectually challenging game I've played in a long while. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Bendu Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Did not noticed that before: DA:O Ultimate Edition for 10 Euro.
Malcador Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Seein BFBC22 at that price made me laugh. If only I had waited 2 weeks, ah well. Arma II's off too, so I got the Combined Ops. entrerix Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 i've got my eye on frozen synapse, looks really neat. Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.
Enoch Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 If anybody hasn't played Torchlight for some reason, it's pretty much a must-buy at $3.
Monte Carlo Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I so badly want to love Arma. I really do. Superficially it has absolutely everything I should love in a game. Sadly, I only have two hands, ten digits and one brain. This precludes me understanding the bloody controls.
Tigranes Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 What only one? Jesus christ, Monty. Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
mkreku Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I got Torchlight.. I will probably not play it, but.. uh.. STUPID STEAM Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Raithe Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 (edited) Since The Force Unleashed 2 was going on sale ... I thought wth, I'd see just what it was like. After all, lightsabers and silly force powers, there has to be some fun to be had. At ?7 that translates as about ?1.70 per hour of game play you get. So, eh, not too bad. But yeah, short and way too manyt QTE's. Edited July 3, 2011 by Raithe "Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
Calax Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 I expect to see X3, Winter Voices, Test Drive Unlimited 2, and Monday Night Combat all appear as sales. "Why?" You ask? Well, because parts of those games are offered as part of their whole 'buy these games and complete achievements and you'll get tickets you can spend on stuff!" promotion. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Maria Caliban Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 X3 is already 50% off. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.

Sadly, I only have two hands, ten digits and one brain. This precludes me understanding the bloody controls. Ah come now it's not THAT bad. The tutorials are decent enough to know what to do as a basic grunt. Squad command and up seems to me it'll take more practice and study but ah well. The editor sure is fun, although I'm amusing myself by making rather one sided affairs as the CDF/USMC pound insurgents into dust with air power Why has elegance found so little following? Morgoth Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Oh, Singularity. Is this a good game? Rain makes everything better.
Oner Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Usual Raven quality, for better or worse. I found it fun. Giveaway list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DgyQFpOJvyNASt8A12ipyV_iwpLXg_yltGG5mffvSwo/edit?usp=sharing What is glass but tortured sand?Never forget! '12.01.13.
vault_overseer Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Just picked up F:NV and the DLCs. Now I have it on both 360 and PC. So, what mods should I install?
Morgoth Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Usual Raven quality, for better or worse. I found it fun. The last Raven game I ever played was Jedi Academy, which was good, but not as good as Jedi Outcast. After that I heard Raven declined, but now I bought it and if it's crap I only lost 7,50 EUR. No biggie. Rain makes everything better.
Labadal Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Trine was awesome, and well worth the full price I paid for it. Alpha Protocol on sale, if anyone who hasn't tried it wants to give it a go, it's ?5.
WorstUsernameEver Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Just picked up F:NV and the DLCs. Now I have it on both 360 and PC. So, what mods should I install? Aside from fixes there's really nothing I'd consider essential. I'd recommend Project Nevada (heavily tweakable, and pretty good even if you just keep very little of what it adds), WMX (more weapon mods, has a patch that adds mods for Project Nevada's weapons). Besides those two, I don't use many gameplay mods, mostly very minor tweaks. Tons of visual mods though, but I don't really know your tastes about those. Ah, don't forget to grab the New Vegas Script Extender.. many, many mods don't work without it (including those two).
Rosbjerg Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 For mods to Fallout 3 or New vegas check out Nexus. It's easy to navigate and you can find all the great mods. Or just the top 100 most endorsed mods. Fortune favors the bald.
