It's a presentation video.

Exactly. It represents the game.

Game over.

I'd think even those people would have enough to cry and whine about without having to resort to pulling wild conculsions from random demo videos and then whining about their own random ideas.

Game looks to easy on stage demo! PC version of DA2 MUST not have varying camera angles since those weren't shown in an early demo!

Do I need to keep going?

Hm, that actually looks pretty good. But then again, hard to judge it's good if the character is setup for a demo.

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

oh I should say.. was poking around the official forums.. while not confirmed word on the street is the devs hinted earlier this may be a stream required game on the PC. Seems all the big PC games are going the way of stream...

Ok

The soundtrack sounds amazing and the game is gorgeous. As for the gameplay, I just hope being that overpowered isn't that easy. Chances are we won't have any of those cool upgrades.

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Any Square-Enix PC game requires Steamworks.

Pretty much every publisher but EA use it today.

You can buy a console and then play with keyboard and mouse.

1.13 killed off Ja2.

I am hoping the AI and NPCs are not that dumb/easy as in the video. However I do agree it was a excellent video to show off the game.

Generaly knowing how these things work I have to agree the PC was prob given god mode and maxed out implants just for the show. Would really make for a odd demo if a lucky shot killed the PC in the middle of a battle and they had to reload and retrace all their steps... :p

"I cannot profess to be a theologian; but it seems to me that Christians who believe in a super human Satan have got themselves into a logical impasse with regard to their own religion. For either God can not prevent the mischief of Satan, in which case he is not omnipotent; or else He could do so if he wished, but will not, in which case He is not benevolent. Fortunately, being a pagan witch, I am not called upon to solve this problem."

But.. he will never fap again :po:)

The real reason Jenson can only be male: A woman would just a vibrate function to her fingers and never leave the house again.

I hope he isn't all that angsty about it. It's hard to feel sad for a guy with a robot arm when the alternative is him spending his life as an amputee.
I don't follow.

It could be worse. That doesn't mean it's good.

It could be better. That doesn't mean it's bad.

We have to have some baseline expectation. If I live in a world where significant damage to my arm means losing it, then getting a cybernetic replacement that is as functional and responsive as my original arm should not provoke anguish. I'm not saying he has to be happy about it. There's a large emotional spectrum to work with here.

So you shouldn'd be anguished over the loss of your OEM limbs because you can get a cybernatic aftermarket replacement?

Disagree!

Men would be less depressed about losing their hair if plugs were better quality, easy to get and had no social stigma.

Nooooooooooooooo! *sob*

Nice aesthetics, but Adam is a bit of a Debbie downer.

Adam is a bit of a Debbie downer.

What does that even mean? It's "Sam Fisher is emo" all over again.

It means he can't appreciate the awesomeness of having cybernetic arms, punching through walls and turning invisible.

(at least according to the trailer)

Not everyone enjoys being a ruthless killing machine, ya know.

Although I doubt Adam has this much depth to his character.

He could run away and use his awesome powers to build houses for poor people in Africa or something.

Probably just another case of being cursed with awesome and needing a driving internal conflict.

Also, makes for an easy binary choice system. Am I a man or a machine, durr.

I think you're reading way to much into this in a effort to be negative. We see him using a bunch of his new powers, you really don't think he appreciates them? You want him to voice his appreciation every time he uses an ability? "I love that I can punch through walls." "I really like that these arm blades give me the edge in battle." "Cloaking is great, I can move around without being seen." "I really appreciate being able to fall from great heights without taking any damage." Maybe he can shout "OH HELL YEAH" with a big smile on his face every time he activates an aug.

Here's hoping he's Neo trying to be Batman

I was kidding...

Maybe less of a debbie downer and more of a grumpy bear?

That makes even less sense, providing you know what grumpy means. Like I said, it's "Sam Fisher is emo" all over again.
