Oh, and to answer the usefulness of the radio mimic, its for more than one person, i.e. two people are talking, you could either A. Blow one of there heads off with a bolt action, then the other one pulls an alarm. Or B. use the mimic to lure them into the train your on, quietly dispatch them with your knife THEN blow the other guys head off with a bolt-action. Of course, an m-60 would probably solve that problem by spraying, no wait, make that a suprressed m-60.

Took a pic. Sorry about the fuzziness and black and white, we workers don't need colour or multi megapixel camera phones though really.

<snip>

That certainly implies a communist option, doesn't it?

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

Outrageous! They seem to have lumped together Marxism-Leninism and Titoism and made them into a single dialogue option... >_< Man, I miss BG2, where there would be options for EVERY communist alignment. Things are so simplified these days. Fat chance we will see that kind of depth again in modern RPGs with the new edition of the DnD rules (and with the 360 having only four of those fancy buttons to choose dialogue stance with). Besides, only one of the buttons is actually red. How are you supposed to fit the entire spectrum of authoritarian socialism into one button? At least they could have made a pink button for anarcha-feminism or a black one for Barack Obama.

Alright folks, I got my hands on this game a little while back but there was some pesky legal bull**** that prevented me from posting about it! Fortunately, I remembered to sign my name incorrectly, so it doesn't matter one iota. Next time, make sure the person didn't sign their name "Mickey Mouse"! Ha ha ha!

So I was in some kind of building as Mike Thorton, unarmed and doing the moonwalk. I ran around in circles at varying speeds to giggle at the animations for about... oh I don't know... three, four minutes? One of the nice folks from Obsidian told me to stop, though, so I did and got around to playing. A character with purple hair, a girl I think, was talking, but I was ignoring her because she's a DIRTY CAPITALIST PIG-DOG. I called up my old ex-Stasi buddy and we went out for drinks and killing in Moscow. The mission involved... getting something? Honestly, I wasn't paying attention.

The plot was very so-so, in my professional opinion. Not enough anti-imperialism or worldwide revolution. I'd recommend you take a look at the possibility of altering your subtitles (and dialogue?) so that instead of the "United States of America," it reads "the United $nakes of Amerikkka." You know, give it a little oomph. Check out Monkey Smashes Heaven to see what I mean.

Combat was all right, but Obsidian, you seriously need to make it so that you don't have all these silly weapons. I mean, honestly. I can't remember what it was called, but there's some doohickey that lets you throw a sonic device or something. I spent a good while trying to nail one of those mother****ers in the head with it, and when I finally did? IT DID NOTHING. Nice job, Obs.

In conclusion, once these problems are corrected I think Alpha Protocol is GOTY 2011.

All is not lost, I have heard rumours that the game may have been delayed to fix this very issue. Apparently they are swapping the capitalist running dog 'Bauer, Bourne, Bond' archetypes for 'Stalin, Trotsky, Marx'. It may not be perfect but I think it deserves a hearty 'congratulations comrades' and a spontaneous rendition (not in the fascio-bourgouis extrajudicial kidnap meaning) of the 'Internationale'.

It's L'Internationale, you ****ing savage. Or, with a mild translation "the Internationale." The "Internationale" is meaningless, since there is no song by the name of Internationale, you uncultured swine.

Also, I hope that Alpha Protocol will follow in the footsteps of communist RPGs of the past and have a classless skill system! Long live the revolution of Fallout (and I'm not talking about the reactionary crypto-fascist bull**** that was the third installation in the series) and Arcanum! Hands of our game SEGA, Alpha Protocol belongs to the people, not to some bourgeoisie clowns!

"Uncultured?" I would remind you, comrade, that "culture" is a concept foisted on the proleteriat in an attempt to control our minds and to provide distraction from global revolution- in fact, much as religion is the opiate of the people, culture can be said to be its methamphetamine.

Indeed, I have for a long time found cRPGs to be my favourite gaming genre as well.

Actually, you thrice-damned anti-revisionist, the existence of a cultured and educated proletariat is a fundamental necessity for the revolution. Prior to the October Revolution, Marxists all agreed on that simple fact (and thus thought that the revolution could not occur in undeveloped countries like Russia), and even the Bolsheviks built a big chunk of their early foreign policy waiting on a German revolution to occur.

Alright comrades co-patriots, you now have the official seal of approval from the Ministry of Free Thought and Humour, we'll call off the politruks.

How could anyone possibly win an argument with him, even if he wasn't at his best? He's amazing, and getting owned is my punishment for ever trying to beat him.

Hey now, my mother is huge and don't you forget it. The drunk can't even get off the couch to make herself a vodka drenched sandwich. Octopus suck.
