WorstUsernameEver Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Even more vague: will it be revealed during this year? Even more vague : will it EVER be revelead or will it be cancelled before?
Aeternus Dystopia Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Not sure if this relates to the actual game of this thread but something interesting I found. Interesting stuff
Starwars Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Killspace entertainment is the studio Monty Markland (who started the Purgatorio mod and then got hired by OEI and worked on Aliens) went to after he left OEI. Hope they make something interesting. Listen to my home-made recordings (some original songs, some not): http://www.youtube.c...low=grid&view=0
WorstUsernameEver Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 And it sounds like they're doing 2 action games... so yeah, I really doubt it's somehow connected to this project.
Magister Lajciak Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 In the back of my mind, I am still hoping for KOTOR 3, but I know it is highly unlikely.
Average Joe Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 In the back of my mind, I am still hoping for KOTOR 3, but I know it is highly unlikely. You're not the only one.
Bos_hybrid Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Didn't anyone get the memo? Obs are making a Vampire JRPG to cash in on the current vampire craze.
Pop Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Speaking of Killspace, evidence suggests they're making an Apocalypse Now game. Weird! Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
funcroc Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 Nathaniel Chapman's Facebook page - "class design is hard"
WorstUsernameEver Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 Nathaniel Chapman's Facebook page - "class design is hard" I can't really see anything except a larger version of his forum's avatar and that he apparently likes Fallout New Vegas and Hayao Miyazaki. I don't have Facebook however, so that's the most probable reason.
kirottu Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 I think even the /b/tards could learn a thing or two about stalking from funcroc. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Rostere Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 funcroc is my hero. If everybody was like him, we'd know everything about Obsidian's upcoming games "Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"
WorstUsernameEver Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 funcroc is my hero. If everybody was like him, we'd know everything about Obsidian's upcoming games Well... everything except those things that are still under wraps because of NDAs and all that ****.
Flouride Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 haha creepy creeps It will get creepy when he starts reporting what you had for breakfast Hate the living, love the dead.
Walsingham Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 funcroc is my hero. If everybody was like him, we'd know everything about Obsidian's upcoming games If we're wishing for magic powers I'm voting we give Sawyer power to control publisher project schedules. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
WorstUsernameEver Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 On my way to gdc canada. Man Seattle is gray. From Feargus' twitter! Maybe Obsidian will announce something? They probably won't
Morgoth Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 E3 is usually the right place to announce new stuff. I'm sure we will get something there. Rain makes everything better.
WorstUsernameEver Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 E3 is usually the right place to announce new stuff. I'm sure we will get something there. Yes and no. As Pete Hines pointed out (I was surprised myself to see him say something a bit deeper than the usual 'awesomeness here, awesomeness there, great guys' PR talk) while E3 is usually considered, as you say, 'the right place to announce new stuff' it's also true that, because of that precise reason, the multitude of announcements means that there's a big risk of your announcements being lost among the others.
Humodour Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Nathaniel Chapman's Facebook page - "class design is hard" Hahahah ****ing wow. In both ways.

Trenitay Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Hey, Seattle isn't that gray. Hey now, my mother is huge and don't you forget it. The drunk can't even get off the couch to make herself a vodka drenched sandwich. Octopus suck.
funcroc Posted May 20, 2010 Author Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) 1. Sonia Im, PR Assistant Director at Square Enix US is following Feargus Urquhart's twitter. 2. Square Enix Executive Producer David Hoffman's tweet: "is knee deep in review for project X. When revealed it will blow your socks off! The media thought SE [square Enix] and GPG [Gas Powered Games] was interesting - just wait!" I want to believe SE is the publisher for Obsidian's new project. Edited May 20, 2010 by funcroc
Syraxis Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I want to believe SE is the publisher for Obsidian's new project. It certainly looks that way, what's stopping you?
