From what I've heard from guys at Sega of America, they are really excited about this game and are saying so far it could be 'the game to have' of 2009 from Sega.

 

Curious if its true. I am intrigued of any Obsidian's projects regardless :ermm:

 

Though I'm curious, what is their comment on the other Aliens (GearBox FPS) game as well?

This confirms it... if the game is indeed tyte it will feature...

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe. 

I can just see it now. Make it dynamic and grow with the player. But the player can leave it to the aliens if it's wounded! However, it will always seek out the player! It can also be used to point out objects of interest!

 

On top of that, the player can become pregnant with an alien. And start a family of aliens.

What if the cat is infested with an alien?

 

Make sure to make a glitch where the cat is infested with a chestburster and you still have to protect the little alien that came out!

and to add to that, you could play co-op with a friend, who could totally just KILL YOUR WIFE on a random whim, lol - best game ever. man, obsidian should totally write this down, this is serious win.

 

you know what would make this game seriously killer, though? one-button combat.

sharkz, sorry if I came across that way - I like Sega. My gaming life began with Sonic (age: 5) and I always thought it was a pity the Dreamcast went down the way it did. I was really saying it was funny how they didn't hype it by saying it would be one of the games of the year, but it would be one of the games of the year from Sega - you don't really hear that often, do you? To me it sounds rather too cautious and not very confident. But no, I like Sega and I like Aliens. :)

 

I mean, we have it from a reputable source that it's tyte like nothing before. They should be betting money on it going platinum.

Tyte like Psychonauts is probably something Obsidian wouldn't want to achieve, as the game is so awesome and yet nobody buys it.

Speaking of Psychonauts, I bought it not long ago, but I haven't installed it yet. That still counts, right? Right? I'll get around to it after the semester ends, since time is not on my side right now.
