October 12, 200718 yr Is there something notable about this game? Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
October 12, 200718 yr I'd rather know things about the game. Why does it have the look of a Nicktoons version of Metalocalypse? Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
October 12, 200718 yr I hopw it's less console-ish than Psychonauts, I didnt like the whole platform setup. But that is kind of idiotic critiscism since it was.. well... a consol platform game. October 12, 200718 yr Tim Schafer is simply a genius. You can be sure I'll pick up everything he creates on day one. I didn't with Grim and Psychonauts, but after playing these I knew Tim's my new hero! Edited October 12, 200718 yr by Morgoth Rain makes everything better.
October 12, 200718 yr Does that say Jack Black is starring in the game? Tim Shafer is one of the few folks who knows how to use humor in videogames well. Psychonauts made me nauseous, but I still played it quite a bit just for the comedy gold.
October 16, 200718 yr Seems like the first screenshots have been leaked. Click This is gonna be one wicked hell of a game! Rain makes everything better.
October 17, 200718 yr http://gamevideos.com/video/id/15547 Absolutely forking unflappably, humongously awesome! I don't recall the last time I've been so impressed by a video. I have to see if I can get this with higher resolution. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.

October 17, 200718 yr Whoa! Great Awesomeous Prime! EDIT: A shame that there's no PC version comming... I have a sneaky suspicion I'd enjoy this game. Alas, 'twas not meant to be. Edited October 17, 200718 yr by Noceur
October 17, 200718 yr Tim Schafer alone is notable. Who? Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" October 17, 200718 yr You should lie down and die now Sand. Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, Psychonauts, Monkey ISland. What kind of freaking gamer are you? Also, no PC?? Men, fy fan!!! "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! October 17, 200718 yr Never played those games. The only LucasArts games I have are KotOR 1 and KotOR 2. October 17, 200718 yr Never played those games. The only LucasArts games I have are KotOR 1 and KotOR 2. Interestingly, those games came out after LucasArts decided to can the Good Games department and put all their monopoly money into the Bad Games Department. (That was a joke, really, but they did can the Adventure game department, or at least neuter it beyond recognition.) edit: Haha, Tim Schafer was also Brooding Morale Coordinator on Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II! October 18, 200718 yr http://gamevideos.com/video/id/15547 Absolutely forking unflappably, humongously awesome! I don't recall the last time I've been so impressed by a video. I have to see if I can get this with higher resolution. Clearly you've never seen Metalocalpyse. Or Tenacious D. I didn't think Tim Schafer would be the type to hop on bandwagons. Early word is that it's going to be a God of War clone with "squad combat" elements. And one would guess, leftover Metalocalypse plots and humor. Hopefully the kind of mouth-breather that would go for that sort of thing will buy enough copies for Schafer to make something worth playing. The second Fantastic Four movie had a good trailer too. October 18, 200718 yr While I've never seen Metalocalypse, I am quite familiar with Tenacious D. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. To be fair, it's more of a niche market. It's not like Metalocalypse and Tenacious D are watched and listened by millions upon millions of people. To be fair, it's more of a niche market. It's not like Metalocalypse and Tenacious D are watched and listened by millions upon millions of people. Exactly. That's a pretty tiny bandwagon he's jumping on. The fact is we really haven't had a video game that was metal, so it's still very unique.
October 18, 200718 yr so it's still very unique. Not unique enough for me to take notice over the gameplay. God of War bored me to tears. At least with Psychonauts, I had something clever I've never seen before to help me get over the rote platformer gameplay. This game is going to feature Jack Black prominently, so given the trailer I already expect The Pick of Destiny: The Game, and that movie sucked. There's absolutely no reason for me to expect otherwise. Adult Swim is a niche market in the same way that the indie rock is a niche market: It's not quite a mass market, but it ain't ****in' Warhammer. Violent action game + goofball 70's metal mythology = instant sleeper hit. I'd be surprised if they didn't run a heavy ad campaign during Metalocalypse. And like I said, that's fine if he can continue to make unique games because of it. But this game is like KOTOR - lowballed vision for a wider audience. Which makes Schafer's "superdesigner who cannot do wrong" title seem a bit excessive in this case. Edited October 18, 200718 yr by Pop Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
October 18, 200718 yr God of War bored me to tears. They taste like candy. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

October 19, 200718 yr I have no idea, they will be deleted if it isn't. If they do get deleted you might be able to find your way to some more at this link though currently they're down because the bandwidth was exceeded and things. Edited October 19, 200718 yr by Fenghuang RIP
