I thought I posted an image yesterday, but it got deleted with all those bokishi's nda-problematiques :) It's probably not the best combination, playing Nosferatu and working for the anarchs, but my little PC-upgrade let me play the game on 1280x1024 with HQ 4xAAA and 8xAnisotropic Filtering (Full Trilinear), so I had to try something new (that would be no news if my last post still existed ;)). vampire bloodlines :ermm:

I'm playing on Very Hard and they had 4 full armies - all of the units with 9 experience points (I had 4 units with between 1-3 experience points) and 2 of their armies had Rocket Launchers and Trebuchets.. I didn't really stand a chance..

 

I'm now building 4 armies of my own to retake the city and finish of the Mongols - sending in mutiple assassins to take out the structures in the city and I also initiated a Jihad on Constantinople, which 1/3 of the remaining Mongols joined. I hope they settle there, I won't mind them standing in front of every crusader army comming my way.

 

 

Update: The Mongols could not withstand my"sea of Saracen"

I am not normally the kind of guy who succumb to "What If" thinking, yet walking through the empty places of this game, I couldn't help to think: What if this game had had 12 more months of development time?...

I'm replaying NWN2 with an evil Warlock, and I just arrived in Neverwinter.

The game's graphics really lose a lot of their quality in screenshots.

 

Looking at Khelgar's scale mail, reminded me that before all the first performance patches, metal armor looked a lot better. Well, now that 1.07 has improved the performance a bit more, wouldn't it be possible to turn the detailed armours feature back on?

I guess its all in the eye of the beholder. I very much enjoy the graphics and effects from WoW while greatly disliking the "realistic" graphics of NWN2.
