LadyCrimson
Principal Catherine Stephens said the situation "involved poor judgment" ... More like abominable judgement. “Things are as they are. Diamond
Considering a recent story of a kid who got expelled for making a CS map of his school, I can't imagine a body part the teachers were thinking with.
Gorgon
Maybe a crazed gunman drill would be in order, you could even have the alarm do a special ringtone so the students would know not to run out and be mowed down like cattle, but to throw themselves out of the windows instead. The drill would cause only moderate casualties if propperly prepared. Or alternately, you could make sure that guns were so unavailable, particularly to children and homocidal maniacs, that these things would be so unlikely to happen that drills would be unnecessary Nahh, too advanced. metadigital
I read a book recently (Imagining Imaginary Numbers) wherein the author claimed that "imagining" was almost outlawed in (he said Texan, but I would more believe the mid-West) schools, and certainly self-censored OUT of text books, because the word "imagine" was too close to "magic" and therefore ANTI-KRISTIAN!!2!!1 OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
WILL THE ALMIGHTY
... This world is growing stupid and paranoiac at the same time. Good thing I live in Canada. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons.
