Krookie
Call of Duty is a great so far. Something that strikes me right away is that in Call of Duty, moreso than any other game I've played, you rely on your AI controlled compatriots. I started the game on veteran and I actually count on my buddies to do things like keep the enemy pinned down while I get in position. When I take out a tank, I rely on my buddies to kill the enemy riflemen to give me enough time to do my job. This is even better than Half-Life 2, which is the only other FPS title I've played that makes any substantial use of AI controlled allies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds like you would really enjoy Brothers in Arms. Pick the first one up, it's only around $30.00 USD last time I checked.

I miss my Mutation Gear from my last playthrough. That's what I figure I'll do next time too I decided early on that this play would be just for story... next would be on a new save, with Ellen again and doing everything... then a Nate save with everything... then Ex dungeon (whatever that is) BTW: What does the adjustment gear do? I've only got the Sync and Mutation gears. ... Love your new Bunnie btw. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks

Musopticon?
Actually, amidst all the RTR migrations(like Spaniards in Anatolia or Armenians in Syracusa), I've been playing Ninja Gaiden on my pals Xbox 360. I must say, it's loads of fun. One of the best controls schemes ever made(Only Battlezone 1 and Rune come even close in functionality), totally awesome combat that while challengingly realistic in damage levels combat feedback, is way over the top in effects and moves. I mean that Cremator combo with Vigoorian Flail(can you say 100 hits?), or Izuna drop or Guillotine throw to Wind Run to Ki-slash while in the air. Hell yes, it's challenging, took me hours to master some of the tactical intricaties. Like how to effetively kill those damned monster skeletons who shoot cruise missiles with their bows( ). Just killed Alma for the first time(took only three times) and I still have yet to use a Talisman! So far I'm liking it very much. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. karka
Yeah, NG is the best action/adventure game i've ever played. Yes, better than God of War, better than Prince of Persia series, better than Lara Crapt games. And it looks "next-gen" even on my old Xbox.. Musopticon?
Oh, and I guess I'm playing DOA 4 too. I'm still not getting that forward+y is the middle counter for kicks and not backward+y. It's kind of sad that that's the only real way they've improved the tactical side of things since DOA 2. I mean, sure, better ground game and a much more flexible combo system are big plusses, but I hope Tecmo does another Ninja Gaiden and totally rejuvenates the stale fighting genre. Extreme 2 is not the way I want the series to go. Sorry Tecmo, but when my interest is concerned fifth school costume for Kasumi loses to better gameplay. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. LoneWolf16
The A.I. is terrible; stand and shoot. It looks like a slightly better version of Doom 3. Not as dark, which is a plus, and yes, you get flashlights on guns (The pistol and MG) so no duct tape mod needed. Decent shooter.
