Cantousent Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Congrats, my music loving friend. I've only been to one big concert in my life and it was...... Neil Diamond. Woo Hoo. Too bad he was already getting on in age and couldn't hang with the high notes. It was like attending an AARP convention. Darth Drabek Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Hey, no harm on the Neil Diamond show, Eldar. That guy is one great songwriter. I grew up on Stones, Tap Root Manuscript and a few other Diamond LPs my mom used to play, and that stuff hasn't aged too badly. And I wouldn't call the Twilight Singers a big concert... they're playing a pretty small club and tickets are 14 bucks. I'm still excited though. Neil Diamond - Solitary Man baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Cantousent Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I am I said -- Neil Diamond Oh, I think Neil Diamond is great. It's just that his voice has been hitting the skids for years. He just can't hang with his own songs. Still, those songs are some of my faves. Pidesco Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 No One Knows - Queens Of The Stona Age The Live version from Over the Years and Through the Woods. It's freaking awesome! "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Daaave Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Ark Sano - Haunted. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
LoneWolf16 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Evans Blue - Cold I had thought that some of nature's journeymen had made men and not made them well, for they imitated humanity so abominably. - Book of Counted Sorrows 'Cause I won't know the man that kills me and I don't know these men I kill but we all wind up on the same side 'cause ain't none of us doin' god's will. - Everlast

One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. Kor Qel Droma Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Is that like the Michael Damien who did the cover of 'Rock On' back in the eighties Eldar? If so, hahaha. I'm just joking, although it looks like I missed out on a Neil Diamond convo with you and Drabs this morning. Neil Diamond>Rod Stewart Waiting For Somebody - Paul Westerberg Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Cantousent Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 I believe -- Diamond Rio Yep. That's our Michael Damien. My wife loves the guy. We went to see him play Joseph in the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He did a good enough job. I still think of him as a soap opera actor.
