One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

turn it off... you won't find anything.

I have a thing for crappy custom recordings, otherwise known as bootlegs. :)

Eight Legged Freaks, which was better than I expected it to be.

See, that's another film I can't watch, because it is physcially impossible for spiders to reach that size. That just puts me off before I start.

I think I will either watch True Romance, Life of Brian, or ...

Road to Perdition was a great movie IMO.

Now any film with a Revolutionary Army of the Baby Jesus I can certainly appreciate ...

V for Vendetta=the best movie I have seen in a long time.

There are a few reasons for the movie's greatness:

  1. It seemed to be inspired by 1984, which is one of the better books that I've read.
  2. The acting was superb for V. Portman did a good job too.
  3. Witty and complex dialogues.
  4. Portman is still teh hotness even with her hair shaved off.
  5. Solid action sequences.
  6. Passionate and mostly realistic characters.
  7. Overall a good story.

Though tis based on an already published graphic novel, the Wachowski Bros. may have redeemed themselves with this movie.

What would someone think, who wasn't a Portman fanboi?"

I'd say it was average... bordering on yawnfest.

1. Yes, the film's premise is derivative of 1984. (heh, John Hurt plays the leader.)

2. I guess Hugo Weaving as V was good since he had to act through the mask. Portman was decent although her accent was terrible.

3. Pretentious and grandiose dialogue posing as witty and complex... like the Matrix sequels! :)) (screenplay by wachowskis)

4. Bald portman looks like a post Ceaucescu Romananian orphan boy.

5. Two action sequences... bullet time... again but blowing things up to 1812 overture was amusing.

6. Principal characters were somewhat fleshed out - the "bad" guys were 2D. Still, I didn't care enough for any of the chracters to desire a particular outcome.

7. Story... mediocre.

I'm going to say Natalie Portman's best films are now:

1. The Professional

2. V for Vendetta

750. Star Wars Trilogy

How was V for Vendetta?

Wow, do you even read the posts Kyle?

Anyways while shopping for pizza subs at the wholesale store tonight I saw a twofer with Ravenous and From Hell for less than nine dollars. I just watched Ravenous again and thought it was a pretty decent flick. Nothing like a good cannibalism story to put a guy to sleep.

But anyways I still have never seen From Hell. Does is suck or what?

No, no I don't.

From Hell with Johnny Depp? I remember liking it. It was pretty dark.

Apocalypse Now Redux. It has some deleted scenes put back in it, making the movie longer and more enjoyable than it already was. It

Thank you, I have already caibrated your ratings, once you said that Portman was hot ...

I'm not a Portman fanboy and Ii share his views on V for Vendetta. It was a smart action movie and we all have something to learn from what it says...

Read 1984, instead.
