Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 The first half nearly put me to sleep. The second half was better. Looks like Desmond has, like, powers. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Darque Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 It wasn't that bad. Though the story was in a spiral. Desmond ftw!
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Benry totally owned Sawyer tonight. That was cool watching him get taken down a notch. Was I tripping or did Benry mention the word sub at one point? That would explain the commute... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 That's kind of odd ( well, not for LOST) that their crash cart was broken , wasn't it? And how many times do we have to see pretty much the same backstory played out with slightly different themes? I mean, we've gotten the fact that Sawyer is a scoudrel with a heart of gold, haven't we? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Darque Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Yeah, I agree, it's a bit overdone On the CC, unless I misheard, it sounded like Juliet said that this has happened before. Also, next weeks preview... whoa.
Draken Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 IS DESMOND A PROFIT? Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
Darque Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I don't think he has any intrest in the Xbox360.
kirottu Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 And how many times do we have to see pretty much the same backstory played out with slightly different themes? I mean, we've gotten the fact that Sawyer is a scoudrel with a heart of gold, haven't we? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But but Sawyer, Hurley and the island are pretty much the reasons why I watch Lost. Was the guy playing golf a new guy? I don This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
astr0creep Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 So how come nobody on the island ever saw the second island before, including Sayid, Jin and Sun while circling the island on the boat? Dissapointing episode. I want to know what happened with Sayid, Jin and Sun, I want to know more about Desmond's "gift", I want to know why Hurly is stil a huge monster of lard. Sayer's "pacemaker" was the same puzzle as the button. I found that interesting. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Gfted1 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 And how many times do we have to see pretty much the same backstory played out with slightly different themes? I mean, we've gotten the fact that Sawyer is a scoudrel with a heart of gold, haven't we? When has he ever displayed a "heart of gold"? Ive yet to see a current or backstory where he's anything but a scoundrel with every action calculated to provide him the most benefit possible. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Kor Qel Droma Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 well Gifted, in last nights episode he gave his cut on the the 10million to his daughter. Previously, when he was conning the girl who wanted to con with him, he got cold feet, did he not? Heat of gold was probably not the best choice of words. How about 'scoundrel with a conscience' instead? Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Gfted1 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 ^Good points, I had forgotten those examples. Still, those are after the fact good deeds. He had to screw over someone else to even be in those positions. Still, I get what you're saying. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Draken Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Was the guy playing golf a new guy? I don Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
Darque Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 No weirder than springing Ethan, Erst, or the tailies on us.
Draken Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 That Science Teacher was saying what we were all thinking. "You know, there's more than people on this island than just you and your little buddies." Seriously, only like, three people can touch my body
kumquatq3 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 (edited) I liked the episode. Not a classic, but fun. The best part? Knowing that everytime Sawyer gets pwned, he comes up with something even better. New Mysteries added: The "Sub" and the tumor. In closing, as Darque said best: "In Locke We Trust" EDIT: And iirc we are only 2 weeks away from Malcolm Reynolds showing up! Edited October 27, 2006 by kumquatq3
Sand Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 (edited) You know, Malcom Reynolds. Also known as Gau the Lesser, Caleb. Bill Pardy, The Vigilante, and Father David. Unless he meant the guy who played Armand St. Just in The Elusive Pimpernel. Edited October 27, 2006 by Sand Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" kumquatq3 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 First, shame on you Darque Second, someone is abusing IMDB. It's a privilege, not a right! Third, Malcolm Renyolds is the captain of the good ship Serenity, played by Nathan Fillion. AKA Capin' Hot Pants.
Darque Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Bill Pardy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Geeze Why didn't he just say Nathan Fillion to begin with?
kumquatq3 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Bill Pardy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Geeze Why didn't he just say Nathan Fillion to begin with? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because, to me, he is type-cast forever as Malcolm Renyolds. ^_^
kumquatq3 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 ...remember the season premiere....wern't the "others" on the same island as the plane crash?
