I like how the html code of the page is huge and convoluted and you only have one image there.

I never thought people could have such strong feelings of loyalty/hatred for a game designer. Its pretty gay.

Isn't all here?

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

I prefer the games Interplay sold after BIS.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Fallout 1 was released before Black Isle Studios became it's own entity.

I just notice that it installs into Interplay directories, not Black Isle ones.

Interplay did Wasteland long before BIS ever existed. And I still think that's the best game to ever come out of Interplay.. Actually, it's probably the best game I've ever played.

I think FO predates BIS (as a division) though it still had the same people working on it.

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.

^What Paladin said.

So what has actually Interplay done that is great?

Well... what have they actually done at all, except Wasteland, which is a very old title?

I know it had the same people but I could have sworn that it said Black Isle somewhere on the disc or the case. Looking at them now it seems I was wrong. :)

It's the designers/programmers... not the company that counts. :)

There's quite a few good titles there :)

Interplay was only the publisher on a lot of those - Descent and Out of This World being the big ones I recognize. I can't really think of anything that came from real IPLY genes that is now a hallowed game that wasn't an RPG. Maybe Neuromancer as an adventure game.

This one HAD to be good. :)

The only reason to keep IPLY in our memory is that most of us would not be here if it were not for them. Now? Does it even matter, anymore?

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Didn't they publish Rock and Roll Racing?

Well, if you include stuff they published, but didn't develop, Carmageddon is one of my all timefavourite games :cool:

What happened to Scott Bennie?

Ahhh, I forgot about Battle Chess. Add another IPLY title I bought to my list.

Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story.

"Interplay was only the publisher on a lot of those"

Eh. No one claimed otherwise. Afterall, Interplay was/is a publisher. That's what they do. The thing is, they had a long history of making games. Great games, solid games, crappy games. They've done it all, and a lot of it before BIS or even BIO were on the radar blip.

DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

    * Star Trek: 25th Anniversary

    * Star Trek: Judgment Rites

Those were two kick-ass adventure games I had back in the day. >_<
