The cheat console works.

 

You just can't see it. Obsidian decided to hide it.

 

After you hit ~ just type in whatever you want (carefully) then hit enter.

 

It'll work.

The cheat node and the cheat console are not the same.

I've never been able to activate the cheat node either, but several people I find trustworthy tell me they have.

They also tell me it's basically useless, and not worth the effort.

It's this bizarre and pointless exercise that lets you talk to an Ubese through a wall, who offers various cheat options that don't do much of anything you'd want to do.

The cheat node is somewhat easy to access..but it doesnt do anything good.

 

After the fight between mira and hanharr(whoever you are) go to the first room on the left once out of the pit. Inside is three ubese and 2 lockers...the moment you kill the last of the three ubese run towards the wall near the bunk and press A very quickly. Typically you'll see something along the lines of 'ubese' or something like that in blue like any other npc you dont kill. The options dont really do anything that I've noticed...

There is no "cheats" on the xbox as on the PC version. The so called "cheat node" only lets you set a few variables. I believe it was used to test the scene with Mira and Hanharr.

But when u kill the last of the 3 ubese, do u IMMEDIATELY run to the wall, cause if u stop and then run to the wall it dosnet work. And also, what are the options the cheat node has?
