Craftsman Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Its like your birthday and you have this huge, box, wraped present. Playing the game, is the excitment of ripping off the wrapping paper and the ending is like finding another wrapped box under the the first layer. Guess that next box is KOTOR 3 and lets hope its another box under the wrapping.
Meshugger Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 -"KotOR II is a pure jem, but a flawed one". -"KotOR II has a better role-playing experience than KotOR 1, but KotOR 1 was a better game". That's the ones i've heard. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy

Azure_One Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 KotOR2 is like one of those really exciting books that you just can't put down... except that the final 7 chapters never made it to print and instead some guy scribbled down a basic summary of what happens on the last pages, mentioning a few of his favorite scenes and completely forgetting about other, more important ones.
dabise Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 KotOR 2 is like a cup of Cocao. You love drinking it, it tastes good and then you get to the bottom and all you have left is that bitter sludge you try and wash away

Hype is the word. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.

To get the most satisfaction, you carefully untie the bow and maticulously unwrap the gift, so as not to rip the paper. Underneath the wrapper is a the box for that AT-AT you've always wanted (you've got to be a child of the 80s to understand that part). With absolute glee you open the box but are dismayed to find a brick with a gift certificate attached. Furthermore, that gift certificate is for Bed Bath and Beyond.
Judge Hades Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I was a child of the eighties and I never wanted an AT AT. I wanted a beaten up blue british Police Booth.

GhostofAnakin Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 I'd say K2 is like foreplay without sex. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or for women, perhaps the sex without the foreplay. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)

Instinct tells that it's instant attraction. You make love, the foreplay is slower but you're more experienced this time, so you know what to expect. The actual sex is great, it has some new sting and flavour to it, but it's still as great as the last time, some would say even better. As you're approaching the climax, things seems to go too fast, the intensity is fading away, the essence of making love is transformed to basic lust. And at the point orgasm, you start wondering how it ended up like this? And after the act, you two wonder on what just happened, did any of us came? was there a point in this? Why did we have sex in the first place? "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy

Guest Damar Stiehl Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Playing K2 is like putting together a scale model of a plane, only to find out that the wings are missing. When you call the manufacturer to complain, they thank you for your purchase, tell you that they are proud of the products they make, hang up on you, have a company bully come by to harrass you in the evening and disconnect your phone a next morning.
