Euripides Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 What was the best feature of KOTOR II in your opinion. The one you enjoyed the most. Try just to list good features and avoide complains, buts...althoughs.. ect. Lets try and create a positive atmosphere in this thread. For me it was the parts were you were obliged to play with companion(s) only. It gave a very good reason to actually care for their character development throught the game.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Weapon switching and having the AI commands on the taskbar. Splitting the part was nice as everyone got a shot in front of the camera. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
Hive Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 The fast weapon switch was good. The new inventory layout was good. The new force powers were good. The new lightsaber fighting styles were good.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 The new force powers were good. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Force body ? I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327
213374U Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 The ability to get rid of all the thrash in your inventory by disassembling it into parts and chemicals. - When he is best, he is a little worse than a man, and when he is worst, he is little better than a beast.
DoctorKiara Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I liked the influences thing. Sue me, but I found it fun to influence people based on what I said... oh....and I liked the creating and breaking up items....
Darth Somethingorother Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Flowing robes!! Guess simple things please simple minds. Blue lorry yellow lorry blue lorry yellow lorry blorry. D'oh.
Mad_Scientist Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 Flowing robes!! Guess simple things please simple minds. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True! The new robes are very cool looking.
Darth Brooks Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 T3, the mobile workbench. I liked that T3 was overall more useful in this game, not just as workbench but also as a capable party member. I didn't use him much in Kotor 1.
darth spock Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Basic list: A) Hologram people B) flowy robes (as already mentioned) C) Inventory arrangement D) the "Bonus Quest" stuff E) the dialogues between the characters when you enter/exit the Ebon Hawk F) Atton-the-Pazaak-Guy (where you could play anywhere -- cantinas, Dxun, Ebon Hawk) G) T3-the-Moving-Workbench (as already stated again) I) New prestige classes J) No level caps Fanfics: KotOR II: After the Credits Rolled: Read Force Sight: Read Other: Gaming Blog: Read
Lifthransir Bane Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Pazaak is much, much less frustrating in Kotor2 than Kotor1.
Spooky Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 -The ability to access everyone's equippement inside the Ebon Hawk. -The workbench and lab station. -Upgradable gear galore. -Party influence, alignement. -Jedi/Sith conversion. -Party behavior. -Quick weapon switch. -Level 28 as upper limit.
SteveThaiBinh Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 More humour throughout the game, to offset the overall darker feel which was also good. My favourite joke is the Twilek on Iziz who wants you to touch his... "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Judge Hades Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I like making my own items and equipment. Its even better with some of the item creation mods.
jaguars4ever Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Yeah, I'm going to go with item creation. (even though you don't need it per say. " )
Judge Hades Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Yeah, you don't need it but it is far more satisfying.
