Future games you are seriously looking forward to.

A supposed Atari employee has been saying forever that BG:3 has been in production.

I still don't see any annoucement, and I can't think of who could be developing it.

Do you think that it could be Troika?

I had fun with Temple of Elemental Evil, but I just can't see anyone but Bioware able to do BG3 justice. Not to be a fanboy or anything but Bio's BG series is one of my favs of all time :( Behind the old Gold Box games and the EOB series of course. Still haven't beaten Assault on Myth Drannor yet...maybe soon :(

A very short list  :)

VMBL (already released, just need to pick it up in the store after the weekend)

KOTOR2 (should be around in February)

Nothing else on my shopping list

List is now even shorter. Looks very bleak for the up and coming winter season... :)

Buy a console :)

:D

Honestly, I'm not really tempted to do that. The games that I do like, seems to end up on PC anyway (and I got a high end system). Of couse, I wouldn't mind if they did a decent PC port of the Resident Evil games... ;)

Actually RE, RE2 and RE3 were all released on PC :)

I tried RE a long time ago... sorry, but it played (and looked) pretty awful on a PC. I sort of imagine that it would have looked better on a TV and definitely played a lot better with a game pad (not the rather awkward keyboard layout that couldn't be remapped)

I haven't given RE2 and RE3 a try, but I "suspect" they would have similar issues. Thats why I think a decent port would be nice :)

Just buy a Gamecube

:D

My little brother has one. Perhaps I should get him a few games for his birthday... :D

I heard back when Throne of Baal was released .. that it would be the last Baldurs Gate game, but not the last within Forgotten Realms.. I mean what's gonna happen in BG3 ?? without spoiling TOB to much, you kinda finished that game with a grand ending! :shifty:

I mean becoming a God and all!

IIRC....

BG 3, doesn't Continue the Bhaalchild storyline.

It was named BG 3, bacause the story happens in and around the city of Baldurs Gate.

Then they should remove the 3 by the name.

It should be Baldur's Gate:  "Enter Subtitle here"

That would actually make it seem closer to the dreadful 'Dark Alliance' series rather than to the original BG saga. We wouldn't want that, now would we?
