PrincessSarah Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I'm happy to announce that TJ (EnderWiggin) and I are engaged! And I'll still kick his ass in KOTOR2 :D Proud purveyor, owner and operator of the Wonder Twins
Errantry Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Congratulations - on both accounts! There aren't nearly enough female gamers. Or gamer couples.
kumquatq3 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Congrats! I like how you called it geek love
Child of Flame Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 So the mysterious Ms. Wiggster shows her face....an interesting development indeed!
PrincessSarah Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 Thankyou guys! Yes, I am a female gamer. I'm actually a few hours ahead of TJ in KOTOR2 currently. And yes, I am the mysterious Ms. Wiggster, soon to be Mrs. Wiggster! Proud purveyor, owner and operator of the Wonder Twins
Cantousent Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Congratulations to both you and Mr. Wiggymeister. It is undoubtedly a match made in heaver. PrincessSarah Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 I'm sure TJ is more than willing to share some of his secrets with you! But I also consider myself very lucky to have found him. (1, 2, 3...Awwwww!) And it does help that we're both geeks! Proud purveyor, owner and operator of the Wonder Twins

And tell your significant other I will soon be sending the payment for the black market goods.
DemonKing Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 So what inspired him to pop the question: was he trying to get you off the X-Box by knowing that you would have to run to the telephone to tell all your friends/relatives? Did he get down on his knees or what? Details. Details! Congrats anyway. I got married in July and the wife is a bit of a geek (she actually hugged the KOTOR extended edition box when it arrived) but she gets intimidated by most of my computer games (too complex). When she does play she likes things like Uru and the Hobbit, which are a bit simplistic/dull for me...plus she is a graphics whore.
PrincessSarah Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 You want the mushy details? Well, alrighty. He made me wait upstairs while he got the box (so I don't know all of his hiding places). Before I actually got the ring, I had to redeem each of our "I Love You" cards (good for one kiss each!). Then he slipped the ring on my finger, we got all cozy and wrapped up in each others arms, and he asked "Silly girl, will you marry me?" We're both pretty big Star Wars geeks (we can just about get through all of ESB taking turns saying the dialogue). As far as gaming, I usually just stick to playing KOTOR and now KOTOR2. I'll hang out with him while he plays other games. Proud purveyor, owner and operator of the Wonder Twins
Volourn Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Congratulations. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Phosphor Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 That's awesome; congratulations you two! Just remember Sarah, to always let Ender win at games you play together, the marriage will last a lot longer Actually, Mrs. Phosphor likes games too, so I can vouch for how much easier sharing or at least understanding that hobby makes a relationship.
Loriahnell Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 GEEEEEEKKKS !! ( CONGRATULATIONS :D :D :D ... you're lucky to be playing games together and enjoying )
PrincessSarah Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 Again, thanks to everybody! :D We've set a date! *drum roll* October 2, 2005. Proud purveyor, owner and operator of the Wonder Twins
Pope Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Ms Pope is no gamer... But neither am I lately, for that matter. Anyways, congrats!
Ecthelion15 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Congratulations! There is nothing better than true love
BicycleOfDeath Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Sure there is. Some may think watching others engage in 'true love' in .wmv format on the internet is better. BTW, congrats. Being married isn't all that bad. Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.

There is nothing better than true love <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes there is and they got it geek love being able to talk star wars with a gf is one of my dreams as well as her knowing which games to buy for me for a present and vice versa makes it easier on those anniversary occasions good on ya you darn lucky couple

GhostofAnakin Posted December 24, 2004 Posted December 24, 2004 Congrats! Now all I need to find is a woman who enjoys playing video games. Who am I kidding. I just need to find a woman with a pulse. :"> "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
