Planar Jedi Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Since this game is heavily focused on Prestige classes, at which point do you believe you will attain one? There is hope beyond hope

Planar Jedi Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 Don't you think it is a plot point ? There is hope beyond hope
Jeric Soran Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Maybe after you have killed the first or second sith lord
DarthRevan846 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Don't you think it is a plot point ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I do, that way you can conserve levels to obtain the PrC. Or it could be like NWN and simply be skill/feat/stat requisite.
Lord Satasn Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I really hope it's at a midpoint in the game, so u can run around super powerful for awhile....I'd hate to be like....congrats you are a Sith Lord....oh, wait...the end
Judge Hades Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Well, since they aren't implementing class levels, prestige classes, class options, and the such as it is done in the Star Wars d20 game I don't think it matters a whole lot.
Volourn Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 20th level? That seems kinda late in the game... DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Judge Hades Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Especially when proper character max level in Star Wars is 20th level.
Marid Bakhtavar Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I'm guessing around level 15, maybe less and when you are firmly on the light or dark side of the force.
Craigboy2 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Akari said level 20 "Your total disregard for the law and human decency both disgusts me and touches my heart. Bless you, sir." "Soilent Green is people. This guy's just a homeless heroin junkie who got in a internet caf
GarethCarrots Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 hey where are akari adria etc not seen them for ages
Carth Vader Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Akari said level 20 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If he said that then I hope that we get that level earlier in the game, I didn't reach level 20 in k1 until I got to the unknown planet.
Craigboy2 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Well there isn't a level cap now and Chris A. said this " Does the PC have to be ~level twenty before the Prestige classes are accessible? Currently, no. The prestige class acess are not solely determined by level.(Chris A said)" "Your total disregard for the law and human decency both disgusts me and touches my heart. Bless you, sir." "Soilent Green is people. This guy's just a homeless heroin junkie who got in a internet caf
starwarskid15_19 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 i wonder what the prerequisites for havin a prestige class will be the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
GhostofAnakin Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Don't you think it is a plot point ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you'll be able to use one of the prestige classes about the time you make your "decision" about which side you're going to take (LS or DS), probably just after the midpoint of the game. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Barzarel Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Do anyone know if these prestige classes are actually worth picking over the standards, i mean over force points and force powers or are they forced on you. I know i NwN i thought most of them were pretty useless aside from RDD, since many of them dident offer much aside from spell effects you could easily gain from items/potions anyways. would be nice if anyone have a spoiler on what they do for you.
Stargate: 2000 Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 No Cap?When/where was that said? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The last gamespy article with Feargus, Though I think he was meaning they had moved it not removed it the person who wrote the articla screwed up. "The only difference between genius and stupidity is genius has its limits!" - Albert Einstein. "It's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" "You can try to kill me, you'd fail!, but you can try!" - Revan. "When you have exhausted all other possibilities whatever remains, however improbable must be the truth." - Sherlock Holmes (a.k.a. Sir Arthur Conan Dole) "A lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part"
rika Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I think when you hit level 15 or higher, your character will be required to make a decision in the story and that gives you the chance to gain prestige class. When I read this topic, I can't help thinking about that Korriban screencap posted awhile back where your evil PC is recovering from an assault, surrounded by dark Force clouds. The subtitle said something like (I'm probably misquoting): the attack did not kill you but you feel your darkness grow inside of you.
Salsabettis Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 No Cap?When/where was that said? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The last gamespy article with Feargus, Though I think he was meaning they had moved it not removed it the person who wrote the articla screwed up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Feargus should have just said that they raised the level cap instead of saying they removed the level 20 cap.
Barzarel Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Just hope a cap above 20lvl wont make it to much Zerg battles, just to make gaining that much xp possible, id rather that game had been 20lvl with a exspansion that would allow you to go past that.
Darth_Addicted Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 The following is from the Prima Guide: *** Spoiler Warning **** You get to choose a prestige class at level 15 and after you have a Visas on your team. I'm at the now and had said member on my team. I'm on neutral alignment so I suspect that is why I don't have the option to pick one yet. Also I've been told that with this game there is no Level Cap. Not sure if that's true or not.
Maria Caliban Posted December 9, 2004 Posted December 9, 2004 Yes, that is true. "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.
