Where did that "all your base are belong to us" thing start?

 

I've heard that countless times but never found out where it started.

I would LMAO if I every heard a sith lord yell "PI-KA-CHU" as a war cry just before attacking the PC!!! :)

 

What would be equally as funny would be during a long monolog having a Sith Lord break into a 10 second part of a westside story song just before the PC comes in a woops his but!! :)

I remember it at least 5 or so years ago and it had to have started before that

I've heard that countless times but never found out where it started.

It all comes from an old console game, I think for a Sega system of some sort, that was VERY badly translated. That was actually a line from it. Let me see if I can find out where I read about it.

No true Sith Lord dialogue is complete without some reference to completing the main character's destiny.

Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.

I would like to see in a cutscene one of the Sith Lords turn on one of his underlings who has disappointed him and say:

 

"I told you to blow the bloody doors off!"

 

Then kill him in whatever manner he sees fit.
