ShinIchiro Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 That's what everyone says when you've really really screwed up.
Alexia Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 thought that counts i suppose si Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
Idunnowhattochoose Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Bastila was a great character in the first game and I want to know what happened to her but that's all, certainly not in the party.
will_990 Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Bastila was a great character in the first game and I want to know what happened to her but that's all, certainly not in the party. My thoughts exactly, especially since this isn
EnderAndrew Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 As much as people liked Bastilla and Revan, I have high hopes that even better characters will feature prominately in KOTOR:TSL.
GhostofAnakin Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 cameo only. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Whitemithrandir Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 cameo only. I prefer the cameo of her corpse, if possible. Not sure if I can stand MORE of her whining. Word economics To express my vast wisdom I speak in haiku's.
Indalecio Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 cameo only. I prefer the cameo of her corpse, if possible. Not sure if I can stand MORE of her whining. You don't think she would've matured after her brush with the Darkside? Even Luke was a whiny farm boy at one point.
ShinIchiro Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I guess if Anakin was able to go to Darth Vader from "It's all obi-wan's fault; he's holding me back!!", Bastila can too.
Ixion Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Bastila was quite possible the worst most useless NPC in the game. I hate her...
Alexia Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Bastila was quite possible the worst most useless NPC in the game. I hate her... she hates you as well Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
Maria Caliban Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 As much as people liked Bastilla and Revan, I have high hopes that even better characters will feature prominately in KOTOR:TSL. Thinking of this as a game in its own right instead of a shadow of the original? You freak! I didn't care for the majority of the characters in KotOR so I'm hoping the same... "When is this out. I can't wait to play it so I can talk at length about how bad it is." - Gorgon.
Bokishi Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 Bastila was quite possible the worst most useless NPC in the game. I hate her... she hates you as well But Carth doesn't. Current 3DMark
ShinIchiro Posted July 14, 2004 Posted July 14, 2004 ARGH make bastila go away in threads and in the game.
Mazzarin Posted July 15, 2004 Posted July 15, 2004 I choose option two. While I liked her and wouldnt object to her being back ( as a character generally and on my active team) she does really `belong` to the first game, and Revans story. Whatever fate awaits him/her she will be linked too (assuming shes still around if you get my meaning). As a cameo (or always being off-stage) that will allow strong contiunity while not burying Kotor 2 under the weight of Kotor 1. Though I hope the Jedi in White (Atris?) isnt a rehash of her, though she can still fill a similar role without feeling like a copy.
Iolo Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 I'd rather the new game focused mostly on the new characters and Obsidian's new story. Unless of course Revan or Malak were destroyed and reborn as Darth Sion. That would be just fine with me and an interesting twist.
Whitemithrandir Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Sure bastila should come back! In a body bag... Have her head mounted as trophy on the north side wall of the bridge. Word economics To express my vast wisdom I speak in haiku's.
Iolo Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Sounds good to me. Actually wouldn't that be one of the endings of KOTOR1? Killing Bastila? Of course, I don't know since I chose light side ending.
Darkwaters Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 She should definately be back in a sequel. I don't know why she wouldn't want to be in it...she obviously has feelings for my character. I mean, she was kissing me in the back of the ship...why wouldn't she want to be in my party again?
Ratamacue Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 She should definately be back in a sequel. I don't know why she wouldn't want to be in it...she obviously has feelings for my character. I mean, she was kissing me in the back of the ship...why wouldn't she want to be in my party again? Maybe because you're not playing the same character in KOTOR 2.
GonkRaider Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I R TARDED , BASTILA SHOULD NOT BE BE BACK BECAUSE IM NOT SURE IF THE DEVS COULD CREATE A CONVINCING PLOT LINE WITH HER RETURN. . There, my impression of half of the nay sayers here.
Rayne-RF1 Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 She should definately be back in a sequel. I don't know why she wouldn't want to be in it...she obviously has feelings for my character. I mean, she was kissing me in the back of the ship...why wouldn't she want to be in my party again? I think you have taken the game a little too serious... Anyway, I don't think Bastila should return as an NPC. Give her a cameo role or perhaps an honorable mention, but don't bring her back as an active party member. I for one would like to see some fresh meat.
