He had a previous video where he asserted a man letting his wife drive is "sus" of being feminine or something.

I missed out on being a grifter

This randomly popped up on youtube in incognito, well not this video specifically but Asmongold reacting to it. 😂 So it's double the dose. Going on yt with a fresh algorithm is an experience, especially if you change regions.

YouTube thinks I am a Russian in Finland, is rather funny

Idk, what it thinks I am. Probably a car mechanic in the US...

I get that all the time, minus the region change. Just delete YT cookies. Every time I close/open my desktop browser, YT's home page is black/no thumbnails and tells me to search/watch so they can figure out what I like. >.>

Based on my tablets "cookies remain" action, while YT's "personalized" algorithm has always been poo, the last 4-6 months it's been even more poo - like they changed how it works recently perhaps (not surprising ofc).

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Being a grifter can make so much easy money, however the negative side of it is that you have bury all of your morals to do it. I just can't.

Valve's Steam Machine gets competition in the "Stim Machi...

French hardware sellers LDLC have released a PC Box they originally dubbed the "Stim Machine", as an alternative to Valve's Steam Machine.

Seriously, the Stim Machine. There's no way they've called it that, I thought as I dug up the listing for it on LDLC's site only to be a bit confused that it seemed to be called LDLC PC Box (or PC Box Kit) there. French site Journal Du Geek quickly filled in the gaps for me. They report that LDLC quietly pulled the Stim Machine moniker a couple of days after releasing the box, scrubbing references to that name from the listing as they re-christened the device, probably because they determined they'd been a bit too cheeky.

If you're wondering how LDLC's Box stacks up to Valve's new games cube, the answer is that it seems something of a scruffier big brother that might not be as ideal a bit of kit to fit seamlessly into your living room, but does have more powerful innards. The PC Box is bigger, while it packs a Ryzen 5 8400F processor and Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. That's compared to the Steam Machine's Zen 4 and RDNA 3. The 9060's the major differentiator, and should offer you more frames per second than you can shake a stick at. The PC Box also requires you to set up SteamOS on it yourself, unlike Valve's Machine.

Not purchasing either at the moment, but they look somewhat appealing. Though, a fully custom PC would provide a better value/cost ratio, getting the parts might be challenging.

Sony announces going digital only in 2028 on the same day as they announce turing of digital store for PS3 and Vita, and few days after they removed from PS users libraries all movies from StudioCanal. 🤦‍♂️

For now at least.

I think grounded is keeping them afloat.

Yeah, Grounded (Grounded 2 slightly less, maybe) seems pretty popular - just a different audience vs. what Obs was originally known for. I often see it mentioned/listed with other popular survival/craft/build/co-op games now, when ppl list such on Steam fora.

It's in my current wheelhouse of game genre likes, but I still haven't tried it myself. The setting and youthful chr focus doesn't appeal to me I guess. I mean, I didn't even really like those Honey I shrunk the kids movies. Maybe one day.

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

The second one is still in early access so that's probably why. I'm in the same boat, I like these kind of games nowadays, but I have yet to try it.

Still crazy to me that after everything, Grounded is what Obsidian has real success with. Unbelievable.

"Honey, I Shrunk The Kids -- The Game" is easily their most efficient elevator pitch since "A New CRPG From The Makers Of Planescape:Torment + Fallout 1+2 + Icewind Dale". The latter triggered primarily nostalgia though, whereas the former was something fresh and untapped into (as to gaming anyways).

On Obsidian's own traditional genre home turf, Larian (The "definitive" D&D Simulator) and Warhorse (Dungeons WITHOUT Dragons, Medievals for REALZ) recently found a lot catchier ideas. And if the latter don't blow it, "OMG! LOTR -- but it's finally a proper single-player RPG!!!" will be huge too.

IMO.

Oh well, these are bad times(financially). I expect at least a few studios to shut down.

There used to be a signature here, a really cool one...and now it's gone.
