As much as I loved TW3, I'll end up passing on this DLC. I have the the first two DLCs but I quit playing in the middle of the first DLC because I couldn't get past the boss in that quest with the burning mansion/estate. That combat proved too difficult and frustrating for me even on the lowest settings. I need a mod that allows for insta-kills of enemies so I can proceed with my game.

Besides what Gifted said, in recent times I usually look at the Fling trainer site for simple stuff like that.
I used to use some others like wemod but they all started to require register/login etc. Fling (so far) seems to be the place for direct d/l of each individual game trainer, vs. a service app with access to all those trainers in one app. At least, for the moment. EDIT: I mostly use them for temp infinite health/stamina but one-hit kills is pretty standard too. So far the ones I've tried work with no 'net cable to PC, no login etc.

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Yes, this I agree with you. I also don't care for DnD mechanics, for me because I find that it relies too much on random chance and does not give the player's character creation and advancement choices the centrality they deserve in how characters function.

And also interestingly, my favorite DnD character has always been the dual-wielding fighter/rogue multiclass. 😀

Solasta is okay. I played and then replayed it once, and got my money's worth from it (including the expansion). But I doubt I'll want to replay it again. Hopefully, Solasta II will be significantly improved, especially in its character development and roleplaying aspects.

D&D always had a problem where there were so many levels with no interesting decisions to make ...then 5E made it worse by making feats even less frequently obtained, and merging the ASI system into it, meaning the optimal feat to take often was just ...+2 Dex. Feels like I'm just levelling on rails.

Funny you explicitly mention the rogue/fighter multiclass. I prefer to not take any levels in fighter, and to not dual-wield. However 5E punishes this heavily by removing native multi-attack from rogues. Unless I dual-wield, or get extra attack from taking 5 levels in a different class, all my eggs are in one basket. If I miss the one attack roll I get per round, I'm complete dead weight.

(And as is often relevant in videogames, if I get pulled into a scripted combat setpiece without the opportunity to stealth and win initiative relative to the fighter, I'm semi dead weight. And then sneak attack gets outscaled the moment weapons with extra per-hit damage dice start appearing.)

I played the free weekend recently. Or rather, I downloaded it and wandered around for an hour, and then deleted it. The game looks very detailed, but it didn't run great on my PC, which is pretty decent. I guess I need more RAM. It also seemed not fun. Like, you can do a lot of stuff, but it isn't really engaging gameplay wise. I don't know that flipping a bunch of switches in a ship is my idea of a fun space piloting game.

Do they even need to release Star Citizen ?

Well, technically it is released for years already.

I don't think it will ever get a "full" release. They are making money the way things are going right now - why stop that?

Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

HoM&M: Olden Era sold 1m copies. Woop, woop! There is also roadmap, though it is fairly basic. The most unusual thing is a plannned rogue-like mode, which... could be interesting.

Mina the Hollower, the next game from Hollow Knight folks is out. I quite liked the demo a while back, but wasn't blown away. We will see I end up loving it just as much as Shovel Knight:

Final character for SF6 season 3, Ingrid is out, and with her come a lot of questions, hopes and fears. Capcom seems to be breaking away from tradition: no major patch was dropped balance wise, and apparently they work on something. They also announced that Ingrid is the "final character to receive additional World Tour story content [SF6 singleplayer mode] upon release." Playing through it, I can't tell if it's clumsy wrap up on the mode, or tease for something bigger coming in the future. There a rumors of Tifa being a guess character in the next season, and there is SF6 movie coming out. It could be a big year for SF6, finally doing some shaking up, as game has been quite samey since its launch and discontent is spreading among the playerbase - though the game still breaks its concurrent players records with each new update.
